I love this book a lot. You will fall in love with the characters. I'm definitely in love with Ash. I really like how the author developed the story it is very interesting. You will find that nothing is forced or stupidity in the characters or absurd situations. I recommend this book.

The 2nd book came up as a recommendation & I only realised towards the end of that book that it was a series.

& tbh, I think it was better that way, as I did prefer the 2nd book to the 1st.

This book is shorter, but it didn't actually feel like it.

However, apart from Ash... I can't say that I liked Sereya & Esca before the mission where he met her was incredibly childish & immature.

When he was 18, it was one thing, but at 26?! ?

I really tried, but Sereya was far too annoying & woe is me, for my taste! & I get it, she had a horrible childhood, but her continually lashing out at both men got really tiring very quickly.

Including her getting pissy when they're trying to warn her about the Melgiuns...

She's new to the planet, doesn't know her way around or that many people & has 2 locals telling her to be wary, but she thinks she knows better & throws a strop!

I think authors think that having their FMCs refuse help or advice makes them strong-minded & independent... it doesn't! It makes them come across as churlish & dumb!

Its like the outline of a YA novel with a bunch of uninspired sex scenes crammed inside.

Female MC lived her life where literally everyone treated her horribly but she is actually one of the strongest psychics ever! And she winds up with two super hot and powerful psychics! And sex.

Sex of course being all about hard dicks going into holes and lots of wetness. But they are psychics so its like way more intimate and better than normal sex.

The whole thing feels like it was written by an 11 year old girl.

Okay this was a good and spicy quick read!

I really enjoyed this book, for a short book it had a good amount of world building and I love the triad mate dynamic it had.

The only thing keeping it from a 5 star is that I wish the climax had some action! Usually with a fantasy romance it would have a lot more, but none the less it’s a great read and I’ll definitely be recommending it!

This one was a bit too angst-ridden for me but I can see why the h would be so negative knowing how she had been treated throughout her life. The primary M/M was a bit much but again, I know others appreciate it.

People I wanted to strangle... Grandparents and the h's initial commander. Sadly, people like them actually exist which is scary as fear-based intolerance is extremely dangerous. You can like or dislike something without stepping on the rights of others or mistreating them. Rant over... ?
