The narroration was dull and not exciting enough for me. It's like robotic & unfeeling boredom. It took away from the story and the potential love between the characters. I almost wish there was blasters and explosion sounds in the background to keep me from falling asleep. Honestly, the only reason I listened to the end was because I wanted to know if Sam found his way back to who he belonged to. 3 stars for the drama and love.

Romance or Gist: The h uses her seduction ability to draw in the H to capture him so she can collect a bounty. Anger between the two turns to lust and then a wild night of sex. Her boss comes to help out and he joins in. There is more to it but I don't want to give spoilers.

Final Notes... This was a short story and a wild ride. The MCs were both a bit nutty but I guess that you would have to be do to what they do. I am not a huge menage fan as I see most of those relationships as short-term (someone will almost always get jealous and there goes the relationship). I am also not a fan of the MMF and, maybe because I am a guy, prefer FMF ;)

Melissa has done it again. I am a huge fan of the Harmless books so I was excited to read this book too. I am not usually into sci-fi outta this world stuff...but Melissa pulled it together. It was steamy hot. I did like the fact too that it had a strong lead woman and the guys were strong in their own ways too. The Last Detail was different than the other books I have read by Melissa, but it was definitely a keeper =)

Which is why I don't read a lot of menage. However, Mel pulled it off with 3 characters I absolutely fell for and the story was great to boot!What I Loved: The characters are really what made The Last Detail shine for me. Lou was a kick-ass, smart chick who pulled no punches when it came to getting what she wanted. I loved at one point Sam had described her as seductive, bitchy, and downright dangerous but at that moment in his arms he could see the woman underneath. Go Girl Go! Sam and Jared were both strong, good men who balanced out Lou in different ways. I loved that she had a history with Jared but that it was Sam that started it all. I think Sam was my favorite of the two but Jared was awesome too.What I Liked/Wished there was more of: I am skipping complaints because I didn't really have any. I wanted more of the story though and usually feel that way after a short read. This time I really wanted more of the story and more of that world. It truly was just fascinating! While I didn't feel like I was missing anything, I just wanted more :) Well done Melissa Schroeder!Why I gave it a 4.25: At the heart, The Last Detail is an erotic romance that delivered on all cylinders. The SciFi twist definitely makes it stand out as a must read/own.
