I really enjoyed the first 70% of this book… and then the story went to a twist that just didn’t make sense for the characters to do so.

It left me thinking wtf did I just read? I also felt like the story moved a little too quickly, I wish there was a bit more time spent with the back story.

There were some good spicy scenes I’ll admit, and a good variety of characters.

This would have been 4.5 star read if the ending was not left open. If the ending would have told what happened to the people in the house…and what happened to her after everything that happened…. I’d been a lot happier! You have to use your imagination and I guess make up your own ending. Why do authors do that? Makes me upset!

This would have been an absolutely perfect, wicked ghost story and psychologically twisting tale, but for me, it’s lost the thread right around the library couch. It’s wholly worth reading, and it’s very well-written, but the ending feels oh-so-slightly unfinished and Daphne’s reactions/choices from that moment on are frustrating.
