First instalment in a trilogy. An unconventional love story between a straight guy and a lesbian. A 3 year time jump. Interesting characters. Great narration. Ends in a cliffhanger.

This was a really good book! This was the first book I’ve read by this author. I liked that this story had more complex twists and turns than most in its category. I didn’t feel like it was predictable and it kept me guessing. I am interested in checking out the rest of the series.

So much bulshit drama in one book. Child abuse, molesting . Mafia, Gambling cheating, triangle love, bisexual, gays (all fine but all in one book) murder of parents, shooting in a coffee shop. Escaping prison after shooting a nurse in hospital. COME ONnnn. leave some for other books. Sorry. My time is valuable.

I love the male narrator I listen to a lot of the books he narrates but he was actually the best part of this book, which is surprising because I love Ashley Jade's books. Some of my favorites are written by her. Not this one though. I wish I could read on because I've never left a series unfinished but, I just can't. I literally have a headache just trying to get through this book.

Is it just me or this female character is just too gullible..I’ll probably continue listening but the writer could have done a bit better with the female main character. Great story line but listening makes me cringe sometimes.

What a mess. 12 Chapters in and there’s been cheating, paternity tests, murder, mafia, child abuse, and a shooting. Ignoring the kaleidoscope of story lines, I’m not interested in the gay female character being the main male characters current love interest? If your going to write a gay character, let them be gay and stop diminishing LGBTQ representation.
