Very well put together story. Listening to each book created a series that could become a movie I could watch at the theaters' big screen or drive through movie theater. The best parts were the battles. It was like standing in the middle of the eating popcorn and watching every fight unfold. Blood, guts, gore, and romance will always make a great story. Waiting for the next series of new characters battling their own wars. 5 stars.

The final book in The Road To Hell series.

River and Kobal have everything thrown at them in this series, especially when you add angels into the mix. A hoard of angels. There was still some confusion about the characters and how their role ties in with River's past. I was getting lost in all the politics and previous downfalls but I loved all the original side characters that were thrown into this found family trope.

The end of the story seemed to be a bit rushed. I would have liked more time spent on the character's grief and reunions with the other characters. Surprisingly there wasn't a lot of character loss in this final book compared to the others.

I'm excited to see where the spin-off series goes.

I absolutely loved all these books. I wish there was a least one more to tell how everything faired for Kobal, River and everyone else like Raphael, came, the demons as well and the children. Loved all the main characters.
