About this audiobook
I managed to survive the Wilds, but now I have a chance to build a better world for all Wilders. Unfortunately, it means working with the demons I’ve always considered my enemies.
Joining with the demons wouldn’t be a horrible prospect, except it means dealing with Corson. Somehow, the irritating demon gets under my skin until I’m not sure if I want to kiss him or kill him. As we grow closer, the more memories of my long-buried past slip free, leaving me unsure of what’s real and what’s not…
CorsonI assumed joining the Wilders to hunt down the creatures that escaped Hell was a job I’d enjoy. Not only can I kill my enemies, but I also have a chance to get closer to Wren. I wasn’t expecting the stubborn woman to go out of her way to avoid me.
The more time we spend together, the more I realize she might prefer me dead, but there’s nothing I won’t do to keep her safe. However, when a lethal threat rises, I fear keeping Wren alive may be impossible.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5Why does this author insist on making her female leads so whiny both series? I have listen to the female lead has inter-monologue’s that are nothing but an entire chapter of her whining.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved Corson as a side character so I could not wait to dive into this spin-off series when I knew he was the main feature.
Hell On Earth had a plot that runs alongside Corson and Wren's love story and it was a great way to start a series. Diving straight back into the world where we left River and Kobal. Corson and Wren were characters that left an impression in the last series. The back and forth between Corson and Wren was so magnetic and flowed easily. The dislike and distrust slowly changed to hate lust and then lust. Corson became the dominant alpha towards Wren when he started to figure out her character and Wren's walls began to crumble when Corson shed all his layers. Their story was fast-paced and chaotic, which is expected in their current environment.
Brenda always writes a great fantasy series and I'm excited to see where this one goes. I loved the other series that she's written and I don't think this will disappoint.
