- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I hate the attitude of the principal characters ? they are SOO annoying. Everyone is soo protective over the female main character that is stupid. The male characters are so protective and ruthless at the same time that doesn't make sense.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The end was such a disappointment i still have so many questions.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Series so far is excellent - massive respect for Meg price !! She knows how to read a book! - I’ve already left my feedback for story so far - needed get my bit in about narrator -as normally they are the ones that ruin the book - kudos to Meg!!
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5I've had to stop listening now that slavery, torture, murder and rape have been justified as "fun" and a "way of life" because it's being committed by a species that is not the main villain. The dialogue is extremely cringeworthy and the sex scenes drag on. The protagonist couple are unlikable at best with the woman framed as if she can do no wrong and the man as a comically violent sociopath. The only somewhat morally sound character, Orin, is supposed to be disliked as you can tell by his constant rude and aggressive quibs.
On the other hand, the narrator does a fantastic job and can almost make these books listenable.
