      My enjoyment of this book was probably marred by the fact that, while novellas aren't my favorite in general, I've actually read some excellent ones lately.

      I also picked this out based on the "single dad" trope, which I love....but the "adorable tyke" was only featured at the very beginning, and the very end.

      The male narrator's voice was also really annoying, to me.

      If you don't mind insta-love/lust, and the above-mentioned factors, you might enjoy this book more than I did, as there really wasn't anything WRONG with it....it was just a pleasantly forgettable novella.
