Description

We know what to do. We know how to do it.  We even know why we aren't doing it...executive function, ADHD, depression, etc etc. So what is the art of doing a thing?! Today I am exploring one option that works for me. Here are the steps:1. What is the thing you are going to do? 2. What does doing that thing look like? 3. How long do you wish to dedicate to it?4. What is stopping you from doing the thing right now?5. When you think about doing the thing right now, how do you feel?6. What will happen if you do the thing right now? How will you feel?7. What is the first physical activity in doing this thing? Set your timer for the length of time that you picked in question 3 and just do the physical activity from #7. Then quit. Or keep going. Hope it helps! If you want to book the chat mentioned in the episode, you can do so by clicking this link to my calendar.Join the ultimate ADHD/Depression community!
