Lao Tzu said, “Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.” 
PAUSE…
It begins here,
in this time you are dedicating to yourself.
Breathing in and out
Filling your cup with calm and clear energy
for the rest of the day.
PAUSE...
Untangle yourself from thoughts of the past and the future,
PAUSE...
and be here with this intentional act of meditation.
This habit of creating quiet within. 
LONG PAUSE...
From this space of calm, 
See if you can become aware of,
Any habits in your life that are not serving you well. 
LONG PAUSE…
Take a deep breath in, 
And on your exhale, 
Imagine yourself releasing those habits,
And the power they’ve held over you. 
LONG PAUSE…
From this space of calm,
See if you can become aware of,
Those habits that serve you well, 
And help you to shine from the inside out.
LONG PAUSE…
Breathe…
