Description
Developing #confidence and #clarity requires a lot of #innerwork and dedication. It’s easy to get caught up in your #ambition and constantly be looking ahead to the next project, especially as a high achiever. Learning to accept yourself, as is, in the moment is key for achieving greater freedom. Today Erin Falter, creator of WORKWORK, marketing director at Tydo, and founder at Pink Skies talks with host Ben Easter about what she has learned about developing confidence and clarity from her own coaching and personal development journey.Erin is a busy, high-achieving entrepreneur, yet in spite of her accomplishments, she was still struggling with inner confidence and clarity. Often she was saying yes to requests that were outside of alignment with her values instead of being comfortable saying no. Instead of focusing fully on her current project, she was distracted by looking to the horizon, certain that her next project would be the one that finally made her feel happy and successful. Through her work with Ben, Erin learned how to take a step back and really listen to her inner self for guidance through practices like meditation and #journaling. She learned that she was still operating from a place of limiting beliefs that were no longer applicable. Realizing that those beliefs were no longer effective was a large part of being able to switch her mindset. If you are struggling to develop confidence and clarity, take time to sort out your inner thoughts and overall mindset. Learn to make decisions from a place of true alignment with your inner values rather than out of urgency or scarcity.Quotes“Anything that's asking you for your time or your energy doesn't [mean]... that you have to give to it.” (12:12-12:19 | Erin)“At some point you really do need to shift that mentality from yes to everything to no to everything and then having the discernment to say yes when it makes sense for you.” (14:21-14:30 | Erin) “We're always on the leading edge of creation and our reality, so the horizon will always stay on the horizon. And there will always be a distance between."“It's really important to take that time to look within and really question your thoughts, make sure you're thinking about things from the right perspective.” (23:51-23:56 | Erin)“Journaling, I think, is such an incredible tool and power.” (28:41-28:46 | Erin)“Sometimes people think you work through it and you're done. But it's not usually how it works as a human.” (32:03-32:09 | Erin)LinksConnect with Erin Falter:Newsletter: https://w0rkw0rk.substack.com/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/erin-falter-4b454728/Instagram: @erinfalterTwitter: @erinfalterConnect with Ben:Website: https://lucidshiftcoaching.com/Lucid Shift Coaching IG: https://www.instagram.com/lucid_shift_coaching/Project Candlelight: https://airtable.com/shr5p0P2793RtRk2kPodcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm Hosted on Acast.
