Description

In this episode, I’m getting real about what it’s like to be in my world, in my relationship with food. The great paradox that I get asked about all the time is how in the world I’m anti-diet AND don’t eat sugar and flour. It’s such a great question given all of the diet drama and trauma we’ve struggled with and how easily we can turn anything into something unhealthy. And for those of you who have broken up with sugar yourself, you know just how often people misunderstand sugar-free to mean a rigid, restrictive diet. This episode sets the record straight, laying out why it was so important for me to both break free from diet culture and my abusive relationship with sugar.    If you’re interested in discovering if your relationship with sugar has turned abusive, you can take the quiz adapted from the Yale Food Addiction Scale in my book, Breaking Up with Sugar. I’m also obsessed with knowing all about you, so please follow (and DM!)  me on Instagram, Facebook and my website. We’re in this together and the journey is going to be so awesome.
