Description
Fall camp is right around the corner as the Big 12 conference continues to wait to make plans for the upcoming football season.
In this week's episode of The Flagship Podcast, Horns247 columnist Chip Brown and managing editor Taylor Estes dive in deep into the Big 12 Conference and teams that pose the most threat to Texas as the Longhorns look to finally turn the corner and make a Big 12 title run. Texas has the talent on the roster and Tom Herman's revamped coaching staff ready to lead the team to a successful 2020 season, but it will be far from easy navigating through this year's Big 12 Conference, which is expected to field some solid teams this season with Oklahoma and Oklahoma State leading the preseason pack as the league's Top 2 teams, according to Big 12 media votes.
But the conference is far from a three-team battle. Iowa State returns a bevy of talent from last year's team including quarterback Brock Purdy, while Kansas State proved in Year 1 under Chris Klieman that the Wildcats are still going to be a team to look out for even without Bill Snyder leading the charge.
The Flagship then turns the focus to the weekly 'Love it or Leave it' segment, with this week's topics including trap games on the Longhorns' schedule, what to expect from Baylor this season, if Oklahoma will continue its dominance or take a step back with a first-time starter at quarterback and revisit some of our favorite hilarious memories from previous Big 12 Media Days.
Catch all of that and much more in this week's episode of The Flagship Podcast.
