Chapter I - Teaching Flower Reiki

The Reiki

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing method that was developed byUsui postures At the beginning ofXXe century.Usui, who was a Buddhist monk, spent many years studying sacred texts and spiritual practices to find a way to heal the body and mind.

One day, while he was meditating on themont Kurama, Usui has received an illumination. He understood thatenergy healing was a gift that each of us possessed, and that we could learn to use it to heal ourselves and others. This revelation led Usui to develop a method of energy healing which he called Reiki.

Usui then taught this method to many students and disciples, who in turn taught Reiki to others. The practice of Reiki is based on the idea that universal energy flows within us and that we can learn to use it to heal and harmonize our body and mind.

Over time, Reiki grew in popularity and was introduced to the West in the 1990s.1930. One of the first
