Knowledge has always been the raw material of any nerd. Whether in science, pop culture ... and why not in spirituality ?. After reaching the title of master in several techniques and energy systems, I had difficulty acting in the holistic world, as a good nerd, I do not feel comfortable in some situations, and I do not want to be, which I am not, psychologist, parapsychologist .. I AM ONLY A CHANNEL. So I made my being closer to the Master Mikao Usui, I understood even more why to practice Reiki with a clear mind and a predisposed heart. 

With that I managed to develop a technique in the term Do it yourself that I call Reiki Play©. Pioneer in your model, using technology to distance healing treatment through programmed audios. A method based on the intuitive power of the universe. Through this ability, the body acquires health, increases happiness in life and peace of mind. The Reiki

In short, it is a living and intelligent energy. It is a higher energy channeled through the laying on of Reikian hands and symbols. KING means divine wisdom and KI vital energy. It is based on the idea that everything is energy, and as we are energy bodies, we can heal ourselves.

The Ideogram

The word REIKI is written in Japanese Kanji ideograms, which, according to Roman numerals, do not express a letter or sound but an idea. These ideograms can have several readings with the following meanings:

1 - Wonderful shower of vital energy.

2 - Wonderful rain that gives life.

3 - The idea of something that comes from the cosmos and when I meet the earth I produce a miracle of life.

4 - Wonderful rain that produces the miracle of life.

5 - The communion of a superior energy with an earthly one, however they belong to each other.

6 - A wonderful energy that is above all others and is also in you and that you belong to it.

In some cases, this ideogram is reinforced with small shapes that represent grains of rice that symbolize life.

The Color

The symbolic color of the REIKI energy is green, given its correlation with the heart chakra, (let's see the chakras) responsible for our unconditional love and immune system. Its ideograms are made of gold, as this is a cosmic color, and is also considered the color of healing. REIKI is the light that takes us back to the great light.

The Bamboo

From nature, REIKI took as a symbol bamboo, which in its simplicity, resistance to wind (when bent), emptiness, straightness and perfection, can represent, metaphorically, the functioning of energy.

Bamboo is flexible despite being strong; he reveres the wind that touches him with his breath, he bends to life showing us that the less a being is opposed to the reality of life, the more resistant he will become to live to the full. Bamboo is strong, it is used for the construction of boats, furniture and buildings, that is, everyone who received REIKI tends to become strong and resistant.

Between one knot and another the bamboo is hollow, empty; how empty is the space between heaven and earth, representing those who chose to be channels of REIKI, which start to function in this void as true tubes that direct cosmic energy. The unrivaled straightness of bamboo, the perfection of its projecting upwards, as well as its knots, which symbolize the different stages of the path, symbolize the purpose of our interior itinerary, our growth and the evolution towards the goal.

In Japan, bamboo is a plant that brings good luck; painting bamboo is considered not only art but also a spiritual exercise. In some African cultures, bamboo is the symbol of joy, the happiness of living without illness and worry and it is interesting to see how this symbolism has to do with the principles of Reik.

History of Reiki

REIKI had its origin through research and a spiritual experience by Dr. MikaoUsui.

Dr. Usui was born in Japan on August 15, 1865. He was, among other things, a Buddhist monk, and he researched for a long time techniques that would lead to healing through the holistic universe.

He learned a technique called KIKO, in which the user uses his own vital energy to heal the patient, leaving the user of this technique exhausted. Not content with this practice, Usui traveled through China, Europe and Japan, aiming to find a technique that helps him in healing without exhausting his own vital energy.

In his research he learned Sanskrit and, through the notes of a disciple of Buddha, he found the key to the discovery that would bring REIKI energy back to our planet. However, although he discovered the knowledge, he had not yet acquired the healing power he had sought so much.

In order to find this true healing and self-healing technique, Usui traveled to Mount Kurama, where he meditated for 21 days. For 21 days Usui meditated, fasted and came into contact with higher spirituality. In one of these meditations, Usui came into contact with a higher knowledge and was taught to use the REIKI technique, as well as its symbols and methods of laying on hands.

In April 1922 Usui then opened the Usui Reiki RyohoGakkai school in Tokyo. This school still exists today. Usui had several students and among them a Navy officer named Chujiro Hayashi, who started Master HawoyoTakata, who is responsible for spreading the technique in the West.
