Acknowledgement
First of all, I would like to thank my family for their constant love and support.
I would also like to extend my gratitude to my dearest friends – without you guys this book would still be a dream.
Special thanks to Rawan and Meri for helping me bring this book to life.
Abadii for being the beacon of light when I was in darkness.
GMASBR, BC, WHCE, love you all.
Allure of Darkness
The allure of darkness is very strong, temptation
It pulls you toward a never-ending leave
Burns out your lungs, suffocation
Drowning, unable to breathe
No process, devastation
Alone in a dream
No chances, recreation
Being your own fear.
Alone
Alone
No protection
On my own
No redemption
No change
Nothing strange
Just a view
And an assumption
Growing older
Growing wise
Being bolder
Able to rise
Alone
Standing
Nowhere to go
Alone
Stranded
No one to know.
I Had a Dream
And then you’d start a conversation saying,
I had a dream.
I had a dream and you were there
There was a demon, you were scared
We were both flying in the air
I had a dream…
Love Eclipse
I was the sun
You were the moon
We had our fun
Now it’s ending too soon
I call my mum
You call your friends
I tell her it’s done
You tell them ’tis the end
When we first met
I thought you were cute
It was in my head
When I couldn’t refute
All the things that you said
Even though you were wrong
So I loved you instead
Now I’m
