It’s Nice To Be In Love
It’s nice to be in love
To the person that make you smile
All of a sudden that you didn’t notice
When you experience a difficult day.
It’s nice to be in love
To the person that makes your heart beats fast
Like a horse that racing inside your chest
When you see him unexpectedly in your way.
It’s nice to be in love
To the person that loves you back
Even though you didn’t ask
Because it is not necessary.
It’s nice to be in love
To the person that makes you happy
Every single day
Even if you don’t have enough time.
Its nice to be in love
To the person that accept who you are
Even though you have many flaws in life
That sometimes you don’t know how to mend.
It’s nice to be in love
To the person that can see your value
As an individual or lover

Love Is Magical
Love is magical
In every aspect
Because we don’t know
Who will be our partners for a lifetime.
Love is magical
Because we can’t predict
Who will be the one
That our hearts will choose.
Love is magical
Because it moves in mysterious way
It can move up and down
It can move right or left.
Love is magical
Because it has right timing
Because it has the wrong timing
It will just appear suddenly.
Love is magical
Because it give strength
To everyone that fight for it
Even though it against the world.
Love is magical
Because it can be a bridge
Between two people
That both hate each other.
Love is magical
Because it don’t discriminate someone’s feeling
Anyone is capable to give and receive it
To him or her that needs it
Love is magical
Because everyone is equal
No one is exempted
To feel it.
Love is magical
Considered as a wonderful blessing
From the Creator of everything
That we see, smell, touch, taste, and hear.
Poem by Khazel Jacob
Ideally
Once I was in depths of slumber and fear
Suddenly your light dazzles from within
Your radiant smile amuses me
How your dark brown eyes gazes at me
The sweet scent from your well-tailored gray suit
Matches your crew-cut dark hair
Little did I know you were already here by my side
And your fingers are intertwined in mine
My archaic soul was astound
How you embraced the emptiness that I am made of
How marvel that our stars aligned
How you pushes me in the edge that I thought I couldn't fly
Not a long stemmed rose
But you showed me that I can be an exquisite lily
Not a tanishq gold
But you cherish me like a trapiche emerald
You chose me although they are more sophisticated
You chose me although they are more stunning
You chose me when I'm about to lose my mind, comparing myself to them
You chose me despite of my weakness and flaws
A poignant memory that I can still see vividly
Wrinkles from our eyes whenever we smile
Our hearts beat as one, You and I
A promise we'll hold on to lifetime
For what this means my heart belongs
Yet can't be seen and remain unknown
Perhaps not today or next few moments
But soon will arrive and fall into places
Even without a glimpse of tomorrow
I know the time will surely come
Doubt and fear will now be gone
And meet the heart that matches my soul and rhyme
Short Story by
Daniela Lorraine B. Brutas
Sunset Haze
The sun left all too soon. Another day had come to its end. Awaits another dreadful day tomorrow. They say happiness finds you. I think darkness does too. It cripples you from the back, taking away what you never thought you needed as much as air.
The park seems to be empty and is exactly what I just need with all this stuff running in my head. I know I need to let all of this out for once because it's already bothering me every night. That is also the reason I am here late at night.
The girl thought to herself while listening to music and finding a perfect spot to sit and reflect to herself. She sat on a bench near a lamp post but it seems like she isn't alone in the park after all. A few benches away, there sat a guy quietly reading a book. She started walking to him and as she walked closer, his tall and muscular features became more noticeable. She didn't really mind some company as she sat next to the man.
Can I sit here?
Lori asked shyly. No. Sit elsewhere.
The man answered in a stern voice, not even looking her up. I’m new here.
She started as she sat down. I think there’s plenty of other seats.
He said, moving away to his right. What are you reading?
Lori asked, looking over his shoulder. How to behead nosy people.
The man hissed.
Turning to see who was talking to him, the man meet a pair of the prettiest coffee brown eyes that he had ever seen. The eyes were as brown like an Espresso Coffee. Those same pair
