Foreword
I was shocked to find truth in this young man's words and quotes he himself wrote. He also is a bit of a nature lover, and I think many will find that part interesting, especially with all the references. When I asked Zxayveon what he believed as a creator, he said, I am a creator as I am human, and these words flow through my soul as my emotions through my heart. These poems, songs, sonnets, etc. are one of the most important parts of me, and creating is me freeing my soul. My ambition and passion to create a story or an idea that requires more than myself—because it takes a lot of work to bring something into fruition, I think—is the most interesting piece of creation.
I pondered the young author's response and asked, What do you mean by ‘interesting piece'?
He said, "I am a creator and an artist in my own right. I don't try to stay in one avenue of the arts. If I can do a little something, then I have the potential to make it grow into something. Back to the question. The reason I say interesting piece is because I'd rather have people pay to watch or read something that is good, something they'll remember, something relatable, and every other surprising turn they can enjoy. I want them to enjoy it as much as I and whoever else enjoyed creating it because every story starts with an idea."
I think I've never met a more vivid yet calm author such as yourself. I pray many look at your artistry of words and thank you.
Little Me
Hey, little me,
I know it's hard to recognize me
But it's the older you speaking to you
I'm here to deliver a message
It starts like this, little me
It was never easy, being angry
And hurting, trying, loving, and laughing
The pain was too much, many emotions
Were evoked but unreleased
Tears that never sprung up in the well,
Pressurized into concrete
The happiness we felt, taken over by apathy
The silence of being on the path alone
Acknowledging that we need help when seeping into the
Ocean's pain
Living broken dreams, rather harsh to say they
Were mean
Little me, you've grown so much into a
Version you will respect
I mean, it's not the best version, but it's a version
To be proud of
You have become something that you could not
Fathom, and you have one of the exotics—creative, infinite
Imagination
The light you thought was dim was always brighter
Than you thought, it even shined brighter than the sun
Your smile came with a cost, you would
Rather do that than mope around and feel lost
You learned to love, you learned to hurt
You have morals, you have value
You are wise, you are bold
You are human, you are good
What do you do now, older me?
I mean, honestly, little me, I've been straight chilling
Joined the army and went international
We write songs, raps, poems, etc.
That's nice to know, did you leave?
Yeah, I left, you don't have to worry anymore
I got us if no one else does, you can rest now and
Dream the sweet
