Chapter 1
The Journey
As the shadow of death looms in front of your eyes, life flashes by, and the strong words reverberate in your ears. Have I lived my life to the fullest? Have I lived a purpose-driven life? How would you answer that question?
The answer to this question is going to determine the quality of your life.
One of the things that I’ve realised is that age, emotional intelligence, education, financial status, and experience will affect the choices. So, the question arises: how do I make the right choice? Well, you can listen to the experience of someone else and use that as a guideline to decide your path, but life is an individual journey where each individual embarks on his or her journey and realises what is good for them.
Today, everything that we buy has a manual to operate it. If life too came with a written manual How easy it would be for us to live our lives to the fullest, but sadly, it does not. As we grow older, we undergo rigorous education and training in schools and colleges, yet we learn nothing about how to handle our lives. Isn’t that strange? From algebra to geometry, literature to history, we spend an enormous amount of time learning useless, unnecessary things that have no relevance in our lives.
So, I would like to welcome you on this journey of self- discovery, whereby, by the end of this book, you should realise your true purpose.
If we analyse the animal kingdom, we come to the conclusion that our human species is the weakest in terms of strength, endurance, and physical ability, yet we have become the masters.
