Don Luigi del Tintoretto is not Italian, and that is not his real name. He wouldn't dare put his real name behind a book like this, for obvious reasons. In fact, he has not even been to Italy yet. However, he is starting to put together some ideas for his next book, which is going to attempt to help women understand the behavior of some men that they might be interested in. The overarching goal is not to put any gender above another, but instead to attempt to decrease the overall amount of emotional suffering and misery in the world by helping people understand each other better.

INTRODUCTION

Greetings! Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to read this book!

The subject matter at hand does not require much by way of introduction, for it is as old and as relevant as the human race itself.

A man wants a woman, but she doesn't want him as well – or, does she?

If she does, get out there and enjoy your time with her, but please watch out for red flags, and also please be sure to keep your integrity as a man and as a human being intact – otherwise she might leave you or cheat on you very soon. In other words, don't be a simp.

However, if she doesn't want you – why doesn't she? Or, to re–phrase the question, what do women want? Oh, I’ve got the answer for ya, but ya ain’t gonna like it! Then again – you just might like it, who knows?

As a side note: the long-term goal of this series of books is to try to help make the world a more harmonious place, where men and women will meet each other and form relationships based on a more realistic understanding of what the other person wants and desires in a partner. But that comes later. The immediate and short-term goal of this book is to help ease the emotional suffering of a large number of men who are needlessly suffering out there today, right now, as I am typing this.

So, back to the main question – what do women want? Before we begin to answer this question – let's just make a few assumptions.

For the purposes of this book, we are hereby assuming that both the man and the woman in question are single – except for the Deserted Island scenario, which we will discuss in detail further on.

Then, we are also assuming that both of them are straight (heterosexual), and adults (18 or older, or 21 or older in some jurisdictions), and that they are NOT related by blood (that's just plain wrong, if you ask me).

One more thing. We are also assuming that they are both able to procreate; but either, or both, of them may or may not want to get married and have children right away.

I know that there is a large number of human relationships in the world that these assumptions do not cover, but the situation that I am describing here is certainly common enough and far more than complex enough that it will suffice for the purposes of this short book.

Also, for those of you who are interested in more complex situations than what I am describing here – I'm sure that once you internalize the ideas that I am going to present to you in this book, you will be able to understand much more easily and precisely just exactly what is going on in that particular situation as well.

As a much shorter, more personal, and less formal disclaimer: I am not a psychologist, an anthropologist – or, for that matter, an expert on human behavior of any kind. I will not be boring you with lots of studies or graphs – you don't need too many studies or graphs to understand the main idea that I am talking about here.
