About this ebook

Life-changing thoughts on salvation and soul-winning.

God's perfect will is that every human being should come to repentance. There is no human being on earth that the Lord does not want to save. Because God wants every human being to repent, it is God's perfect will for me to do everything to ensure that every human being repents. Every sinner can be saved if three things are done for him:

  • The first thing is to pray for him,
  • The second one is to fast, and
  • The third is to present the gospel to him.

If these three things are done in the power of the Holy Spirit for every sinner, every one of them would be saved.

These fundamental truths came out clearly as Professor Fomum ministered the gospel of Christ across the globe between 2003 and 2007.

May the Lord make of you a result-oriented minister of the gospel through this book.

THE SALVATION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

    1 Timothy 1:15-17

THE SALVATION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

    1 Timothy 1:15-17

    SOUL-WINNING

THE SALVATION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

    1 Timothy 1:15-17

Spiritual sterility which is the incapacity to bring the lost into a revolutionary encounter with the Lord Jesus is not environmental. It does not depend on where a person is found. Spiritual sterility flows from sterility of the heart and sterility of the heart is an outcome of not living in the immediate environment of the Lord Jesus.

    SOUL-WINNING

THE SALVATION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

    1 Timothy 1:15-17

The Lord Jesus came into the world to save sinners! The believer lives in the world to save sinners. The reason why the Lord Jesus came constitutes the reason why the believer is in the world.

    Abidjan, 10/01/03

    7

    SOUL-WINNING

The only reason why the Lord Jesus does not take a believer to heaven immediately he believes is that the believer should remain in the world, seek the lost, save the lost and keep the lost in the Lord Jesus.

    Abidjan, 10/01/03

    8

    SOUL-WINNING

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16).

    Abidjan, 10/01/03

    9

    SOUL-WINNING

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost (Luke 19:10).

While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled (John 17:12).

The Lord Jesus gave His all for the seeking of the lost, for the saving of the lost and for the keeping of the lost. He thus provided a model for all soul winners so that they must follow His model and invest their all into seeking, saving and keeping those who have been saved.

    Abidjan, 11/01/03

    10

    SOUL-WINNING

The believer has the solemn responsibility to seek the lost and to seek them in the largest possible numbers. The believer further has the solemn responsibility to labour and ensure that all who are sought are won to the Lord Jesus. The believer has the final solemn responsibility to ensure that those who have been won to the Lord Jesus are kept in the Lord Jesus.

THE SALVATION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

In the salvation of God, God the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in the heart of the sinner. If the sinner keeps his sin, the Lord cannot come into his heart because there is no place for the Holy Spirit. When Zacchaeus welcomed Christ in his home, it was only when he turned away from his sin of selfishness and was willing to give half of his wealth to the poor and willing to carry out a fourfold restitution of all he had defrauded that the Lord said that salvation had come to his house. All that had to go went, and room was created in his heart for the Holy One, the Holy Spirit, to come in.

    12

    SOUL-WINNING

THE SALVATION OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

For the salvation of God to take place in a life, all sin must be confessed and forsaken radically and permanently. Without the confession and abandonment of sin permanently, the salvation of God cannot be imparted to anyone.

    Yaounde, 15/01/03

THE CONQUEST OF PLANET EARTH FOR THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

There will be a revival between the years 2040 and 2045 which will not only accelerate the harvest but will enable all the saints to be purified, sanctified and perfected. In that way, the one billion people will be cleansed, sanctified and perfected people who render total obedience to the Lord in all things.

    Libreville, 31/01/03

    14

    THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

There will be one billion people handed over to the Lord Jesus who render total obedience to Him in all things. These one billion people shall come from all six continents and from 200 nations ¹. The Lord who has promised that the goal shall be accomplished has also promised that the goal shall not only be accomplished in quantity but it shall also be accomplished in quality. The one billion people will not only be believers; they shall be disciples who render total obedience to the Lord Jesus in all things. Glory be to the Lord God Almighty.

    Libreville, 31/01/03

    15

    SOUL-WINNING

For someone to be won to Christ there has to be a place in the heart of the witness for the Holy Spirit because He is the first witness. The believer is only the second witness (John 15:26).

    Libreville, 01/02/03

    16

    SOUL-WINNING

For growth in numbers among the people of God, there must be fresh encounters with God. From the encounters with God, there will be wounding, cleansing, purging of the saints and removing of all that occupies the heart so that there may be room for young converts to be added to the church. Young converts are borne on the hearts of the older believers and the leaders. If the heart is filled with sin, self, the love of the world and the love of things of the world, then there will be no place on the hearts for young converts to be received and kept.

    Yaounde, 29/01/03

    17

THE PRESERVATION OF THE SOULS WON

Souls are won and kept on the heart. If the heart is full of sin, there will be no place to keep the souls that are won. They may be converted but they will have no place to stay and so will fall away. If the heart is not full of sin but full of the things of the world, then again there will be no place for the souls that are won to stay. The result of this is that they will fall away.

    Libreville, 01/02/03

    18

    BURDEN FOR THE LOST

Burden for the lost is what God gives to a Spirit-filled person to cause him to burn and to keep burning for the salvation of the lost.

    Libreville, 01/02/03

    THE SALVATION OF THE LORD

"Can Christ be your Lord and you not obey Him? Or, can you be His servant and yet not truly serve Him? Be not deceived, such as you sow, that you shall reap—(See Galatians 6:7). He is not your Savior while you reject His grace in your heart by which He would save you. Come now, what has He saved you from? Has He saved you from your sinful lusts, your worldly affections and vain conversations? If not, then He is not your Savior. For though He be offered a Savior to all, yet He is actually a Savior to those only who are saved by Him; and none are saved by Him who still live in those evils by which they are lost to God, and from which He came to save them.

It is from sin that Christ is come to save man, and from death and wrath as the wages of it. But those who are not saved—that is, truly delivered by the power of Christ in their souls from the power that sin has had over them—can never be saved from the death and wrath which are the certain wages of the sin they live in.
