Milton Todd

Milton Todd, a servant of Jesus Christ, is striving to make a difference in someone’s life. He is the husband of a loving wife, Sandra Nicholson-Todd, for twenty-eight years and the father of one son, Milton Jaylen Todd. Minister Todd was born the sixth out of seven children belonging to author Lee Todd Sr. and Lola Bumpers-Todd. After his mother passed in 2003, his father remarried Minnie Owens-Todd, increasing his siblings from six to nine. Milton Todd is a graduate of Vigor High School in Prichard, Alabama, class of 1984. For sixteen years, Minister Todd has been the graphic arts instructor for Mobile County Public School System, altogether being employed by MCPSS for a total of thirty-two years. He is also a member of the First Baptist Church of Prichard under the leadership of Dr. Walter G. Bracy. Milton Todd was called to preach in 2004 and began his career in the ministry, serving over the years in the capacity of deacon, choir member, trustee, church council, vacation Bible school director, youth minister, Sunday school teacher, and jail ministry. In 2010, Minister Todd was called to oversee the birth of the Lord’s church King of Glory Missionary Baptist Church as its founder and pastor. The Spirit of the Lord spoke and said, “I have everything you,” and then led him to the fortieth chapter of Isaiah. Minister Todd was told to begin on the first Sunday in 2011, and it was so. “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). “How shall they preach, except they be sent?” (Romans 10:15). As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” “I am extremely humbled to be a servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray that this book, The New Christian User’s Manual, blesses your household in its entirety, and may our Lord strengthen you as never before that we all may continue to grow to another degree in the Lord.”

GOD chosen and GOD appointed, The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord,

    Chapter 1

    New Born

    Becoming a New Born Christian

It is God’s will that all be saved, although that will not be the case. There are many people who question there own and others salvation because they did not hear bombs busting or seen the fireworks in the sky. The word of God say in Romans 10: 9 KJV, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Your confession is believing that Jesus died, was buried and resurrected on that third day morning with all power in His hand. You must also believe you are a sinner in order to believe in Jesus, because if we had no sin then we are calling Jesus a lie, for he came and died for sin. We have to believe in Jesus Christ, some believe he was just one of the prophets but we must believe he was and is the Son of the living God. We also must believe the scriptures, that He is on the right hand side of the Father and that He is a part of the Trinity, the three in one, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. The bottom line of it all is you have to believe.

When Nicodemus came to Jesus in the third chapter of John, he had come to realize that nobody could do these miracles except by God. Jesus told him, John 3:3 Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:4 Nicodemus asked Jesus, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus said, John 3:5 & 6 Except a man be born of the water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. When you become saved by your confession of Christ and ask to be forgiven of your sins, having a true godly sorrow, you are now in the family of Jesus, one of God’s children.

Now you have just accepted Christ as your Personal Savior, congratulations, you have made one the greatest decisions in the span of your life. Everyone will have eternal life, the question is, where will you spend it in, Heaven or hell? it is our choice. If no one else seems to be praising God for your great move in life, I would like you to know that the angels in heaven rejoice upon one sinner’s repentance. The ninth chapter of Hebrew has us to understand that Christ gave His life for the remission of sin. You ought to praise God for your soul being delivered from a burning hell.

In becoming a new born Christian I have stated over and over again about having to believe. Our believing is our having faith, the word say in Hebrew 11.1, faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. We have to learn to believe when we see no sign, learn to have hope when everyone else has given up, faith not in one’s self but in the Lord Jesus Christ. The word of God says it is impossible to please God without faith and it say’s all things are possible with God. We as Christians truly need to understand that without faith there would not be any healing, deliverance, hope, salvation, freedom or peace for us and with faith all things have become possible through Christ who strengthens us. As new born Christians and as Christians in general we have to begin to allow the word of God to begin the process of breaking down the bad of the world in order to build up the good of God in us. We have to be retaught and we have to yield to the teaching of Christ
