Summary of You Will Own Nothing By Carol Roth - Willie M. Joseph
The Coming War
World War F is a global war where the government and other related forces are trying to dominate the American people. The war is not a quest to dominate the American government but for the government and other related forces to dominate you. Three forces are working to usurp and dominate wealth and freedom: direct government and government-related forces, bad actors and elite power-grabbers, and Big Tech. These forces, often working alone or together, are consistent in their goal of separating people from their property rights, money, wealth, and other freedoms.
These forces operate on a global scale, using sophisticated propaganda machines and armies of soldiers. They are preparing and building their forces, often under false pretenses, and operating on a global scale. They are coming for your wealth, livelihood, social standing, access, and assets, which are your literal wealth, legacy, and family's future.
The wealth comes from ownership, which is an indisputable truth. Wealth comes from the ownership of assets that increase in value over time. Ownership is a subject people often misunderstand, as it is not just how much money you make but how you manage it and put it to work for you. Today's reality is the polar opposite. Ownership and the opportunities for individual wealth creation and economic freedom that come with it are under attack.
The World Economic Forum (WEF), an international organization connected to a cadre of elites, has courted, developed, and associated with business magnates and political heavyweights like Bill Gates, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, and former chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel. The WEF's 2030 predictions included the stark warning, You'll own nothing. And you'll be happy.
The elites' actions in the US are playing out in real time, and they are in desperate need of your wealth and freedoms. Without it, their existence is threatened. The Covid lockdowns and mandates in 2020 led to the most historic wealth transfer of all time, facilitated by the US government and the Federal Reserve, along with connected financial institutions. This multitrillion-dollar transfer went from Main Street to Wall Street, benefiting the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of average Americans, savers, retirees, and small businesses. The coordination of the big players in the financial sector and the government has benefited the wealthiest at your expense. The highest inflation in forty years took hold, and the same central planning powers extracted trillions of dollars from the stock market, including from 401(k)s and individual retirement accounts.
The modern drivers of wealth include the elite's knowledge of valuable resources and their plans to take every penny of it. The government, responsible for safeguarding individual rights, has been derelict in their duties, offering services that are not paid for by the public. This has led to massive increases in spending, with taxation and debt being the main financing routes. The US government has turned to debt as its source of financing, which eventually needs to be paid from productivity. This shift towards a new financial world order is a coordinated and dangerous endeavor.
The government's financial system is in a state of desperation, as it runs out of people interested in buying its debt. This leads to the government buying its own debt, stealing productivity and debasing the dollars. This can be done through cutting services, cutting services, or taking the wealth of other countries and people through invasions. However, the financial system eventually shows cracks, leading to high debt levels, inflation, and the unraveling of the financial empire.
The government's actions threaten the dollar's role as the world's reserve currency, increasing the risk of owning nothing. The Federal Reserve's policies also impact the soundness of money and global financial standing, ultimately impacting wealth creation opportunities. This leads to the current financial cycle, where the elite and well-connected know that the economic reality isn't sustainable and that a new financial world order is inevitable. They are working together to influence, create, dictate, and come out on top in this new financial world order.
In a postindustrial digital age, with fiat currency, technology, and elite central planning, it is becoming harder to secure and maintain ownership of anything. The American Dream is under fire as a new financial world order takes shape, hollowing out the middle and working class and leaving them with nothing. The government, Big Tech, and big finance are encroachment into all aspects of life, and understanding this is crucial for securing property rights and wealth creation opportunities.

How Social Credit Leads to Owning You
In the spring and summer of 2020, people across the US celebrated frontline workers, including nurses, doctors, and medical staff working in hospitals and medical facilities. Jenny, a registered nurse, was one of these frontline workers who faced a Covid vaccine mandate. Despite her religious exemption, her request was denied and she had a week to comply or be terminated from her job.
In September 2021, President Joe Biden issued a vaccine executive order that required federal employees and employees of companies with over one hundred workers to get vaccinated, submit to weekly Covid testing, or lose their job. This pressure led to job loss for individuals and threats to businesses, such as losing access to government Medicare and Medicaid funding. The government used virtue-signaling supporters to punish noncompliance, taking away people's livelihoods and separating people from their passions and expertise.
Government mandates were separating people from their passions and
