The struggle between the defenders of America as an exceptional nation and the forces of anti-Americanism is reaching a fever pitch.

These forces have grown so large, so well-financed, so entrenched and aggressive that they must be studied closely and understood completely if America is to survive this imminent civil war.

Newt Gingrich brings together the various strands of the movement seeking to destroy true, historic American values.

    About the Author

It was their courage and patriotism that carried our country through one of the worst crises in our nation's history, Biden says.

    INTRODUCTION

    THE STRUGGLE CONTINUES

Former Vice President Joe Biden's book was written in the spirit of British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. Biden: Americans have always found a way to fight back, to become more creative, to respond to challenges, and to win. He says the 2020 election was a detour, and not a turning point; we must look forward. Republicans gained 15 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives and fought to a tie in the Senate, thanks to Kevin McCarthy's leadership.

In state legislatures, there were 4,009 Republican legislators after the 2020 elections vs. 3,317 Democrats. The left's influence is restricted to Washington, D.C., New York, and Los Angeles, he writes. The left wants to cut the police, impose greater legal risks on being a policeman, disparage the police publicly, support district attorneys who refuse to prosecute crimes, and establish no-bail systems. They are shocked that an anti-police, pro-criminal policy leads to historic rates of increased crime.
