    It's Day Seven of the Pain, by Matthew Dysart, and it was also Day Ten of No Movement. Dysart felt like his insides were trying to force their way out. He hadn't taken a shit in ten days; this was the worst pain he'd ever experienced. My mind is out to kill me, and I know it.
