Chapter 1: Now Is The Time To Take Charge
Time is a finite resource. It simply does not endure as long as we would like. Although it may seem like you were just parenting your children yesterday, those years have passed and they are now raising their own children. But, before you waste any more time, start planning your future.
Although you may not be able to turn back time, making improvements to your food, exercise, mental health, and financial health can allow you to find the tools you need to flourish in your later years. If there is one certainty, it is that you may improve the quality of the remainder of your days if you take charge now, without wasting any more time.
Why didn't you do it earlier?
Even if you're cursing yourself for not saving more money or losing that extra 40 pounds when you were younger, remember that you can still make progress by making adjustments today. You will be able to achieve the health and wellness that you could have had in various ways.
If you are younger, there are numerous adjustments you may make today that will have a significant impact on your life later on. In fact, if you only adopt a couple of these changes today, you'll be able to substantially exceed your goals for saving for retirement, preventing heart disease, and even preventing Alzheimer's.
Every day that you implement positive change is another day that you can reap the rewards. The sooner you begin, the greater the benefit.
Why should you make changes in the first place?
One of the most important and perhaps most difficult things to change is your mind.
Why can't I just live my
