    Introduction

    Diverticulitis is described as an inflammatory reaction of cavities that can occur in your intestines due to acute bacterial inflammation. Diverticula are the receptacles that are found in the body. The sacks are typically considered to be harmless. They have the ability to emerge in your intestines at any time. Diverticulosis is the medical word used to describe the condition of having them. Whenever they get infected or inflamed, this is known as diverticulitis. Diverticulitis might be a minor problem at times. However, it can be severe, culminating in a huge infection or intestinal rupture in the worst-case scenario. It's possible that you have the pouches without even realizing it. Diverticula are usually painless and produce minor symptoms in the majority of patients. In addition to severe stomach pain and fever, diverticulitis presents with other symptoms that are more obvious.

    Acute or chronic diverticulitis can occur. You may have one or more severe attacks of infection and inflammation if you have the acute type. The symptoms of chronic diverticulitis may improve when the discomfort and infection lessen, but they will never totally disappear. It is possible that inflammation will cause constipation, thin bowel movements, diarrhea, bloating, and stomach discomfort. As a result of the blockage, you may experience stomach discomfort and tenderness that worsens over time, as well as nausea and vomiting.
