Introduction

Life happens to all of us. Most times it is wonderful. However, there are times we run into the speed bumps of life. Sometimes these bumps can be high indeed, sending us quite a jolt. Others are minor, and we manage to ride over them with relative ease. Thankfully, not all these incidences happen to us directly, but we can be deeply affected when it happens to our loved ones, be it family or friends.

The important thing to remember is, we are not in this alone. We may think we are, but others have traveled this road before us.

It is my hope that these poems will offer comfort and insight into these mysteries of life.
