Live, Give, Care and Share - Jenny Butler
A way to Live
Thank you for the love I feel
My life has now a knew appeal
I feel I’m on an upward track
I hope I never will look back
The road to joy the road to laughter
The road to happy ever after
The secret is within us all
It may be large it may be small
That spark of love that lies within
Must grow and keep us from all sin
The hurt that comes from doing wrong
The hurt that stops us from moving on
The hurt that others often cause
The hurt that is caused by lack of remorse
All can be banished by loving and sharing
All can be banished by doing and daring
Daring to hope that all will go well
Daring to know what you must tell
Doing the things you know you must do
Loving yourself and others too
Treading life’s path with a happy heart
Knowing that you are doing your part
Taking you share of life’s heavy load
Taking your share of what you have sowed (are owed)
Taking those knocks upon the chin
Soon you will know how you can win
Forgive everyone for the pain they have caused you
May they forgive you without remorse too?
Go on life’s journey with love in your heart
Put pain behind you and make a new start
Know you will always have help from above
Reach out your hands and offer some love
Loving and giving are the things you must do
Smile at the world and it smiles with you.
Angel Wings
When things around are in a muddle
Do not fret do not trouble
Take it easy in your stride
Know that we are by your side
Only but a thought away
Always there throughout the day
There to lean on there to guide
There to help you show or hide
Your feelings in a situation
There to help you feel elation
No matter what may come your way
Know that we will always stay
Near to you to give you strength
To carry on to go the length
To be with you when times are hard
To help you know what to discard
Be grateful for each crumb of knowledge
That you may learn in this college
Of life - this important road
Stick to the rules stick to the code
Know that we will guide your
