Beauty and inspiration can be found all around us. Once we start looking, we might be surprised at what we discover. I started looking around myself a few years ago and I continually find wonders all around me. What follows is a collection of short verse I have written that reflect what I observe in life. Please enjoy them as they have brought peace and solace to my life.

A big thank you to all the people in my life who always remind me that there is more light than there is darkness around us.

    About the Author

    Behind The Mask

    Who is this person

    Who hides behind a mask

Is it a stranger no one knows

Or is it an old friend disguised

    This masked person

    Does he know his worth

Or does he attempt not to know

    Just who is this person

    Masks conceal true faces

Our true self can be hidden

    From not just the world

    But from ourselves as well

    So why wear a mask

    There’s no need to hide

Let all of us see you

So we can be unmasked too

    Secret Journey

    The journey that we take

    Does it get taken alone

Letting no one travel with us

    Or help in anyway

    Is it kept a secret

    Not to be shared

    Nor mentioned at all

    This journey that is taken

    Consider some companions

    To share in our journeys

    Navigation becomes easier

    With others by our side

    Consider an open journey
