About this ebook
I married later than most and was blessed with two beautiful kids, both grown and on their own now. I have been blessed with a grandson.
The inspirations for the material for this book came at various times throughout my life and I was prompt in putting the words to paper. Once, I saw that I had accumulated quite a few I entertained the ideal of publishing. These words came in a rush and were put down the same way.
I hope that the readers enjoy the words and find any message that may be among them!
Thank You,
Jim Tumblin

Thoughts Above for Thoughts Below - Jim Tumblin
Time Alone
Time alone with oneself is the meter that we should all use to learn.
For in this world we arrived by ourselves and we will depart the same.
In the quiet of the mind at ease with the world, one will find the force that propels us on towards our end.
Our self imposed standards and degrees to which we fall short of those same standards are the measurements we should take alone. The ability to look at ourselves and judge is the greatest tool we possess. It is at those times that character can be developed and honed.
A sense of black and white should be developed and kept resolute in the perimeter of our mind. Not having those boundaries makes us as a willow in the breeze with little rigidity in the firmness of our beliefs. The error of our ways is just that. God has a way for us and we must use determination to find that path.
Time alone will give us a clarity of the million thoughts that stream unending to the very core of our being. These thoughts lead us, guide us, force us, direct us, and blind us to each and every path that will absorb our steps in the journeys that we will embark on throughout this wondrous life.
Wondrous it is and wonderful it can be, if we just open ourselves to the beauty that abides in each and every day. See the imprints that each and every living source gives to this world. I never realized how insignificant our own lives could be when thrown against the beauty
