The fire crackled, hot ribbons of light danced on the cool evening air as the last remnants of the day melted from the horizon, a slither of dusty copper slowly engulfed by the night’s dark embrace. Kim and I sat transfixed by the flames, their hypnotic spell freeing us from all thought, fully immersed in that very moment.

Our motorhome had brought us to this quiet corner of Wales, and this perfect moment of escapism, where our minds could empty themselves of the usual thoughts that occupy us on a daily basis.
