Chapter 1:How to get miles ahead of Alcoholism

I wrote this not just for the cheesy phrases about recovery, trust me. I wrote this from my heart because of all the pain and suffering a lifestyle of selfishness has led me to. I want the people who think about the chaos and pain in their life and actually find a path to start moving ahead. What almost killed me was I had no direction. By opening your heart and mind and reading this your already on the right path. My experience and strength helped me and I am only sharing what worked for me in case in might help someone else. All proceeds from this book are going to be used to build a sober farm housing project in the near future in Oregon and possibly Florida. Thank you enjoy and keep running towards your goals.

Alcoholism is a complex disease that often requires a multifaceted approach to treatment and recovery. One fundamental aspect of many recovery programs is the 12-step program, which was originally developed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) in the 1930s. The 12 steps provide a framework for individuals to work through the emotional, spiritual, and behavioral aspects of addiction, and have been used successfully in a variety of recovery programs beyond AA.

As someone who has gone through the 12-step program and experienced the benefits of exercise in recovery, I believe that these two components can be particularly powerful when used together. The 12 steps help individuals to work through the underlying causes of addiction and develop a new, healthier way
