Easy Self Improvement - Troy Ludo
Ten ways to alter your life right now
It can seem as though years will pass before you truly make significant changes in your life. You might want to give up before you even begin.
Here are seven strategies to help you get started right away with the changes you want to make in your life.
––––––––
#1 Alter your routine
Making a change to a habit is one of the easiest ways to start improving and altering your life. Furthermore, it need not even be connected to the objective you have in mind.
You need to start the process in some way if you want to transform your life. Try making a few simple changes in your life right now to start that momentum.
Have you ever driven to work and forgotten how you got there, for instance? This is a frightening idea, but it may also serve as a fantastic reminder to be conscious of your surroundings and how they may be impeding your efforts to better yourself.
––––––––
4
Here are some easy ideas to switch up your daily routine right now:
––––––––
- A different path to work
- Consider having a meal at a different time of day (i.e. eat breakfast at dinnertime)
- Change the sequence of your workouts.
- Rise and shine earlier or later than usual
- Change up your household duties or skip the ones you normally do.
––––––––
The purpose of this exercise is to make us aware that while we may feel at ease in our lives, it's possible that this sense of security and settling
may be impeding the changes we want to make.
Start making the changes right now by altering less significant aspects of your life. You might be taken aback by how different the world now appears and much more inclined to think that additional significant changes are in fact feasible.

#2 Check your closet
According to Feng Shui decorating concepts, you can influence bigger changes in your life by using specific colours and furniture placements in your home. Taking this notion a step further, wouldn't it make sense to start modifying your surroundings when you want to improve something in your life?
Simply altering your appearance for a day is an easy method to accomplish this (without having to spend money remodelling your home).
You can achieve this by just breaking out of your wardrobe routine and attempting something wholly uncharacteristic of you. If you often wear black, for instance, try wearing a loud and vibrant hue. If you enjoy wearing vibrant clothing, choose something more subdued.
To approach your attire like you would your life, by changing it, is the idea.
Because you are aware that you look as wonderful as you feel, or at least as good as you want to feel, you may feel more self-assured. And that self-assurance will come through in both your behaviours and your interactions with other people.
6
People are compelled to react to change. People will start to act accordingly once they see that you are holding your head differently. This explains why the phrase power suit
is used so frequently. You can become a different version of yourself—one who is more powerful—by donning a costume.
It's time to start considering fresh ways to pair particular pieces of clothes if you feel like there is nothing in your closet that you can wear to change how you feel. You might possibly just tuck your traditional work suit into a wild pair of socks. You might even go for garish ties or bigger earrings.
Try to incorporate everything that makes you feel differently about yourself into how you're clothing today.
––––––––
Here are some additional concepts:
––––––––
- Put on a skirt rather than pants (ladies, of course)
- Try wearing a different shirt with your suit that you haven't done before.
- Use a scarf as jewellery
- Don a different jewellery item.
––––––––
7
See what you can find in the back of your closet; it just might save your life.
––––––––
#3 Avoid lying
What kind of day would you have if you didn't tell any lies? Consider that for a second. Even if we are unaware of it, it seems like we all tell lies occasionally.
Even if the wrong order is served, we can claim that there is nothing extra we want when our food arrives at a restaurant. Or we can tell a friend or our significant other that we don't really care what show we go to, even if it's one that we really want to see, when we're on our way to the movies.
Why do we act this way? We don't want to offend anyone, therefore we won't.
But the majority of the time when we lie, what we're really doing is not being honest with our needs and with ourselves. By taking into account what other people think, we might attribute our enjoyment to their decision, which often differs from our own preferences.
8
However, when we lie, we also abdicate accountability for our own choices and their outcomes. We dodge the problem at hand and are now allowing ourselves to learn from the error when we lie to our boss about a project or the bill collector.
Stop lying to yourself and to those around you if you want to alter your life. This is not to suggest it won't be difficult, but it will be something that fundamentally alters how you live your life.
You'll slow down and give what you're about to say and why you're saying it serious thought if you refrain from lying for one day. By doing this, you'll have the chance to discover more about your thought process and any areas where revisions may be necessary.
You might discover, for instance, that when you stop making up excuses for your inability to speak on the phone, people who you really don't want to speak to can be invited to call again at a later time, giving you the time and energy to do what you truly want to do.
And that makes room for you to make the adjustments you need to.
Trying to be genuine to yourself and to others is a straightforward method to start a new way of living. Some people refer to
