The Black Unicorn: Poems for a Journey Toward the Within: Poetry 1, #3
()
About this ebook
The multilingual compilation of poems you are holding in your hands, whether in a handheld device or in print, marks a major step in my search for a more honest poetic expression. As with my previous books, the poems are written in different languages in the way they have revealed themselves to me. The thread running along these poems is the fight against pain, suffering, anxiousness, fear… Yet, the reader will also find poems of self-empowerment and pride. I am aware that in times in which narcissism prevails, genuine pride and self-recognition would seem out of place. Although I have translated some of the poems into English, or Spanish (my mother tongue), I beg your indulgence if you bump into a poem written in a language you cannot read. Think of it as a mystery, a closed door to that forgotten room in the back of my mind, waiting for you to enter at the end of the day.
