Introduction

The Secret Place is written to bring you into a realm where the presence of God is real, and not just a theory. It will bring you into a place where you become a commander of the supernatural realm of God. It will also help you learn how to attract the prophetic presence of God Jehovah . Mind you, the realm of the prophetic is the same realm where signs, miracles and wonders happen in Christ Jesus. In addition, it is the same realm where the angels of God our Father in Heaven make their dwelling, abode, or habitation.

Now, you may ask the reason this book got written when similar titles have been written already. Well, the Secret Place is written as a testimony or encouragement to the body of Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit inspired me to write this book after God delivered me from a deadly accident that damaged another person’s life. Without a doubt, God released His angelic power that day to save my life. The power of God averted that accident, which could have taken my life away. God’s power and presence are real!

Habakkuk 3:3-4

God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden.

I believe this book, the Secret Place, will lead you into the power and glory of God. Many believers have been in the secret place, but don’t dwell there in for a long time. Hence, they later become shallow in spiritual matters and can’t command the glory of God in their lives. If only you can dwell in the secret place all the days of your life, then operating in the realm of signs, miracles, and wonders will become easy. People who dwell in this place carry the unusual presence of God, and angels get attracted to them.

Psalm 91:1-2

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.

The secret place turns you into a sign, miracle, and wonder in Christ Jesus. On the 28th of July 2016, I was doing my prayer and fasting in a certain place called the House of Prayer. Then, suddenly, one man walked up to me and asked if I could pray for his brother, who got involved in a fatal accident. Well, even before I prayed for him, God gave me a prophetic word that challenged this man’s faith. God showed me some things that happened to this man in the past, and he got convicted and asked for prayers as well.

In addition, he also asked me if we could go together to Westmead Hospital (NSW) to pray for his brother, who got admitted to the ICU (Intensive Care Unit). Within a short time, we arrived at the hospital as there was little traffic on the way. Now, when I entered his brother’s room, he was hooked up to multiple medical supports. I saw a gas mask on his face and tubes running into his nostrils. His health didn’t look too good! However, before I even entered, God had already spoken to me that his brother shall not die, but live.

Three days later, he came to our Church and shared a testimony about the supernatural recovery of his brother in the hospital. The doctors did not find any brain injury at all—Jesus healed him! Friends, we serve a miracle-working God. He is still working miracles today, especially for those who believe in His word. Saints, miracles happen to us each time we believe God’s Word with everything within us in Christ Jesus. Sad to say, many people, even Christians, think that miracles are outdated — sorry, they are not!

Once again, in this book, I will share with you what the secret place is all about in Christ Jesus. I believe it is a place you don’t want to miss in your life in relation to your destiny. Just get ready as we delve deeper into the revelations of God’s Word and presence.

Chapter 1

A Place of Total Return

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler. And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Psalm 91:1-4

Supernatural Turnarounds

Friends, the secret place is a place of supernatural turnarounds in Christ Jesus. It is a place where things are naturally shifting in your favour—from worse to good, good to better, and better to best. Well, that can only be God at work—nothing else! Now, for that to happen, you need to acquaint yourself with God in every way. The word acquaint implies getting closer to God in every way or fashion that you can.

Job 22:21-23

Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you. Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents.

Many believers talk so much about God but never want to get closer to Him. The secret place is not for jokers or entertainers, but for committed people. It is a place of total return to God in every area of your life. For example, if you have not been walking right with God, this place will compel you to return to God. In this place, holiness gets revealed from glory to glory. Besides, it is also the dwelling place of God and His angels, who appear before Him day and night. You can’t afford to stay away from the secret place at all.

Rev 4:8

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!

Now, you may ask what the secret place is all about. Well, it is a place of unusual encounters with the God of Heaven and earth. Even angels of God make their dwelling there—it is a glorious place never to be missed. It is also a place of supernatural faith and strange divine visitations of God. Once again, it is not for double-minded Christians or entertainers. No! If you allow doubt or unbelief to rule over your life, then this place won’t be for you. However, you can still work on your faith in order to access this place.

James 1:5-8

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Many times, people call me the man of God but little do they know it is because of the secret place. It is continuous access to the secret place that has made me the man of God I’m today. I have had several spiritual encounters with Jesus and His presence in the secret place. In the same way, it was having access to the secret place that made Daniel in Babylon a great man of God. The man prayed three times every day. Hence, the king of Babylon made a decree that everyone must worship the God of Daniel in the land.
