Introduction

The book of Psalms in its 91st chapter made us to know of the existence of somewhere called the secret place of the Most High.

According to the scripture, it is the only place to dwell in other to enjoy divine preservation God has ordained for everyone on the earth to its fullness.

Many believers are unfortunately living short of this ideal place of safety.

There are Christians being brutally killed every day by terrorists all around the globe, while it seems God is looking sideways.

Some are even of the opinion that divine preservation is no longer available for the children of God.

If not, why would believers be made to go through massive destructions every day and there is no one to come to the rescue?

There is the ravage of ISIL in Libya, ISIS in Syria. Boko Haram, and Fulani Herdsmen in Nigeria, same with many other parts of the world.

The effect of these is the resultant deaths in thousands of Christians every day.

Our God has ever been known to be a jealous God who will never allow his name to be taken into the mud. He is called Jehovah Sabaoth; the man of war who is ever ready to fight for his own.

What then could be the reason why these genocides are allowed to happen and there seems to be no respite in sight?

Could it be that the preservative ability of our God is no longer in place?

This is an option that can never be.

The bible made us to understand that our Lord doesn’t change. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

He also spoke through the mouth of Prophet Malachi that he doesn’t change.

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

As a matter of fact, we are made to know that his compassion doesn’t fail; rather, it is being renewed day-by-day for the benefits of mankind.

Lam 3:22-23 It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

Isaiah pointed out that God’s hands are not shortened to save or his ears heavy to hear our cries, but we missed it because of our iniquities.

Isaiah 59:1-2 ¶ Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

As a matter of facts, destruction is bound to happen as long as people lack a good understanding.

Hosea 4:6 ¶ My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

I have therefore come to realize by the help of the Holy Spirit that the destructions upon the believers worldwide are the makings of our own hands.

This is for no other reason other than the fact that we have forsaken the secret place of the Most High and are now dwelling in caves and holes dug by religion.

As long as we refused to dwell in his secret place, we cannot be made to abide under his shadow. And until we abide under his shadow, the divine preservation which is ordained for us in our inheritance cannot become realistic.

It is for this reason the Holy Spirit inspired me to write this book to bring everyone back to the knowledge of this secret place everyone has neglected.

Friend, when you discover this secret place of the Most High and you make yourself to dwell in it, safety and preservation will never be an issue in your life anymore.

I am so confident in the Holy Spirit therefore that what you are about to discover in this book will not only make you untouchable, it will also lift you up above all issues of concern in your life.

I pray the same God who has called me by his righteousness and gave me a mandate of reconciliation to my world will count you worthy to see the truth located in this book so you can begin to live in total victory all the days of your life. Amen.

Chapter One

Divine Preservation is Real

Psalm 91:1-16 ¶ He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9 ¶ Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.

14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.

15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

Friend, divine preservation is real. And it is the heritage of every believer who understands and dwell in the secret place of the Most High.

The purpose of this book according to the dictate of the Holy Spirit is to point you to that secret place via the revelation of what you’re expected to do to enable you enjoy the benefit despite the prevalent situations around your nation.

I like you to understand that no matter how bad the situation of the world has become, there are still some people living in this secret place and are enjoying divine preservation all through.

You can be part of the number today.

You must therefore make up your mind to comply with all the instructions the Holy Spirit will be passing across to you from henceforth so you can be part of this precious number.

The reality of divine preservation among worldly turbulence and plagues is a fact that is established in many instances by the scriptures.

There was a time when the children of Israel were in bondage in the land of Egypt, and mighty plagues hit the whole land because Pharaoh refused to let them go.

Via this incidence, God proved he is ever faithful in distinguishing between the wicked and the righteous, and between those who serve him and those that wouldn’t.

Malachi 3:18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

The scripture made us to understand there was an outbreak of epidemics in the land of Egypt on different occasions; yet, the children of Israel in Goshen never experienced any.

Come with me as we examine some of these scriptural accounts.

Exod 8:20-24 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he cometh forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

21 Else, if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people, and into thy houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

23 And I will put a division between my people and thy people: tomorrow shall this sign be.

24 And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies

In the above referenced scriptures, the land of Egypt was invaded by a grievous swarm of flies but the children of God in the land of Goshen were exempted.

In the same vein, there was also a plague on the livestock resulting in the death of all the cattle. The divine preservation and exemption of God’s people was also manifested in the sense that not one of the flocks of the Israelites died.

Exod 9:1-7 ¶ Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

2 For if thou refuse to let them go, and wilt hold them still,

3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon thy cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

4 And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.

5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, To morrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

6 And the LORD did that thing on the morrow, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.

Furthermore, there arose also a plague of hails of which the scripture says was a grievous one. It came so hard that all the cattle, men and beast on the field died as a result of the thunder, rain and hail accompanying the plague. Yet, the people of God enjoyed preservation, and no evil touched any of them.

Exod 9:22-26 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth thine hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.

23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

25 And the hail smote throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail smote every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

As if that was not enough, the land of Egypt also experienced a very thick darkness, the type of which has never been seen in the history of the world.

The scripture described it as one so thick that could be felt. The darkness was upon the whole land for three days. Yet, God’s people were also exempted, and they had light.

Exod 10:21-23 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:

23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

Finally, in this same scripture, God made his ability to preserve and exempt his people known by ensuring that not one son of the Israelites died as the angel of death visited the land of Egypt to kill all the first-born sons.

Exod 11:4-7 ¶ And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

The last line of the above scriptures says that the Lord always put a difference between the unbelievers and his people. This is the truth of the word of God.

God is ever committed to preserve and to exempt his people from every calamity, plagues and troubles, but the people themselves are expected to take up the responsibility of abiding in his secret place.

See what the word of God says in the book of Isaiah to expatiate this truth.

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

The above scripture is a pointer to the fact that God will preserve and exempt people from evil; but not just everyone is qualified to be in this preservation bracket. As a matter of fact, it is a condition hinges on where each person stays in him.

There is a place therefore in which every man is expected to be in God for the divine preservation and exemption to be activated on his behalf. This is in the secret place of the Lord Most High.

In this book, therefore, the Holy Spirit is set to open your eyes so that you can discover what the secret place of the almighty God means.

I am confident in the Holy Spirit that as you made this discovery today, you will be able to align yourself to the reality of the truth and walk in it all the days of your life.
