About this ebook
God wants every person to know Him because He is not a magician who seeks to hide his tricks in a mystery. Though many see God and His ways as mysterious, this perception is completely opposite to the nature of God. God reveals in scripture that He has a father’s heart and loves us with a father’s love. Everything He created is at our disposal, if we would submit ourselves to His infinite wisdom. God’s desire is to completely reveal His good and powerful self to every man.
“The Fire Of God! (The Work Of The Holy Spirit!)” seeks to reveal this power of God which is available to WHOSOEVER desires it. This fire of God would not only bring peace into your life but transform you to be an ambassador of peace to a needy world. God’s fire is good fire! Prepare yourself to be set ablaze with fire from heaven as you read this book. Enjoy reading!

FOREWORD
John the Baptist said that he baptised men with water unto repentance but one mightier than him (referring to Jesus) would baptise them with the Holy Spirit and with fire. With the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts chapter 2, this prophetic proclamation was fulfilled. The 120 disciples, who were waiting to be endued with power as the Lord had promised them, received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and Fire and the result was remarkable. Their lives were transformed and they became witnesses of Jesus all over the earth, transforming the lives of many.
In this book, Pastor Martin Ossei shows that this glorious experience was not exclusive to these 120 disciples but is God’s will for every Christian. He teaches what the ‘Fire of God’ is, how you can receive and walk in its reality and how you can maintain it in your life every day.
The fire of God has always been a necessity to live the authentic Christian life but never more so than today. Most Christians understand that we are living in the very last of the ‘last days’. Of these days, the Bible says that lawlessness would abound and the love of many would grow cold. This is exactly what is happening today. We need the ‘Fire of God’ now more than ever to withstand the prevailing lawlessness and to keep our hearts burning with love for Jesus Christ and be empowered to change our world as the first disciples did.
In this book, Pastor Martin teaches, among many things, two key functions of the Fire of God – It refines and empowers.
The prophet Malachi said that, Jesus would sit as a refiner and purifier of silver – that he would purify the sons of Levi and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer to the Lord sacrifices in righteousness
. The book, ‘Fire of God’, will teach you how to yield to the refining power of God’s fire, to purge you of all that is ungodly and how you can be empowered by the same fire, like the first 120 disciples of Jesus Christ, to be a witness of Jesus to your world.
Pastor Martin and Pastor Catherine Ossei are my spiritual parents. I’ve been working in ministry with them for the past 20 years. They have been good shepherds to me and surely practise what they preach. You will enjoy the wealth of wisdom in this book. I have been privileged to drink from their well to the point of being ordained as a pastor, where others also drink from my well. Same fire! You will be blessed by this treasure from God’s throne room.
It is a great honour and privilege to write the foreword to this life-changing book. Enjoy reading it as I have.

INTRODUCTION
The Holy Spirit is God with us in our present age. From the beginning of time till now, God has not hidden Himself from man. Creation is a testimony to God.
When you observe the complexity of creation: The heavens and the earth, human intelligence and abilities, the variety of animals from big elephants to flying birds, to living organisms that you can only see with a strong microscope, you realise that a God whose ability is way beyond human understanding is present all around us.
Human learning is slowly beginning to unravel parts of what we call creation and the more we learn, the more complex creation seems. For example, we discover that even a strand of hair is made up of different parts and its growth is dependent on a web of inter-dependent complex machinery in our bodies. As a scientist friend of mine is fond of saying: Good science always points to God.
The heartbreaker is that the greatness of God is seen through His creation all around us, but God Himself seems inaccessible. We see His works and He exists in our imagination, yet He is so far away that we can conveniently forget about Him and trudge on in life as ignorant and weak victims of what is supposed to be a beautiful creation of a beautiful and intelligent God. We live as if God does not exist, however God exists and is alive and well.
God wants to be known by us because He is not a magician who seeks
