Introduction

The Secret Place is written to bring you into a realm where divine presence is so real, and not just a theory. It will bring you into a place where you become a commander of the supernatural. It will also help you learn how to attract the prophetic presence of God. Mind you, the realm of the prophetic is the same realm where miracles freely happen in Christ Jesus. It is the same realm where angels of the Most High God make their dwelling or habitation.

Now, you may wonder why this book is written at this dispensation of time. Well, the Secret Place is written as a testimony under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit after the hand of God saved me from a fatal accident that damaged another person’s life. The power of God in the secret place in Christ Jesus got released that day for my rescue and protection.

Habakkuk 3:3-4

God came from Teman, The Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah His glory covered the heavens, And the earth was full of His praise. His brightness was like the light; He had rays flashing from His hand, And there His power was hidden.

The secret place will lead you into the power and glory of God. Many believers have been into the secret place, but don’t dwell there for very long. Hence, they become shallow in spiritual matters and can’t command the glory of God in their lives. If you will dwell in the secret place all the days of your life, you will naturally operate in the realm of signs, miracles, and wonders. People who dwell in this place carry the unusual presence of God, and then angels of God get attracted to them.

Psalm 91:1-2

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.

The secret place turns you into a sign and wonder in Christ Jesus. On the 28th July 2016, I was doing my prayer and fasting in a certain place called The House of Prayer. Then, suddenly, one man came up to me and asked for prayer for his brother, who got involved in a fatal road accident. Well, even before I prayed for his brother, God gave me a prophetic word that revealed the secrets of this man’s heart.

Eventually, he asked me if we could go together to the hospital so that I could pray for his brother, who was admitted to the ‘ICU’ (Intensive Care Unit). Well, within a few hours, we were at the hospital. Then, as soon as I entered his brother’s room, I saw a gas mask on his face and tubes running into his nostrils. His health didn’t look too good at all!

It was such a scary moment! However, God told me to tell them that the man won’t die but shall live again. Well, after three days, his brother came to our church and shared a testimony about the supernatural recovery of his brother, and also how that the doctors did not find the expected brain injury. Without doubt, we serve a wonder and miracle working God.

Hence, in this book, I will share with you what the secret place has in store for you. It is a place you don’t want to miss in your life as far as your destiny is concerned. Just get ready as we delve deeper into the revelations of God’s Word and His presence.

Chapter 1

A Place of Total Return

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust. Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler. And from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

Psalm 91:1-4

Supernatural Turnarounds

The secret place is a place of supernatural turnarounds. Where things are naturally shifting into your favour—from worse to good, good to better, and better to best. That can only be God at work! Now, for that to happen, you need to acquaint yourself with God. The word acquaint implies getting closer to God in every way or fashion you can.

Job 22:21-23

Now acquaint yourself with Him, and be at peace; Thereby good will come to you. Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be built up; You will remove iniquity far from your tents.

Many believers talk so much about God, but never want to get closer to Him. The secret place is not for jokers, but for committed people. It is a place of total return in every area of your life. For example, if you have not been walking right with God, this place will compel you to return to God. In this place, holiness gets revealed from glory to glory.

Rev 4:8

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!

Now, you may also wonder what this place is all about? Well, it is a place of unusual encounters with God. Even angelic beings make their dwelling there. It is also a place of supernatural faith and strange divine visitations of God. It is not for double-minded Christians. If you allow doubt or unbelief to rule over your life, then this place won’t be for you.

James 1:5-8

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Many times, people call me man of God, but little do they know it is all about the secret place. Continuous access to the secret place has made me to be a man of God I’m today. In the same way, it was having access to the secret place that made Daniel in Babylon a great man of God and influence. He was a man who prayed three times every day.

Daniel 6:10

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God,
