Purpose of Book

This book is designed to encourage you to prepare for the next greatest event in human history, the Rapture of the Church. Remember the teachings of Jesus and occupy till He comes; busy oneself, trade, study, and be witnesses for the Lord Jesus Christ. Work and minister where He places you in life and stay alert. Plan your life like Jesus is not coming for 100 years, but live life like He’s coming tonight. Remember, God needs believers in all walks of life to be a witness for Him. At school, at college, at graduation, at work, and at home; Getting the Word of God into all the world for a witness. Warn others to be ready for this event. No person knows the day or the hour of Jesus’ return. He is coming like a thief in the night and one day we will be gone to be with Him.

In Luke 19:12,13 He said therefore, a certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, occupy till I come.

We’re instructed in the above verse to occupy till Jesus returns. In the Greek, the word occupy gives us the meaning to trade and be about our Master’s business. Our Lord does not want us dropping out of life because of any end-time teaching. He wants us to occupy. He wants us to reign and rule. He wants us to be busy about our Father’s business, using all the resources that He has given us to win souls and make disciples. We are to be insulated from the world, not isolated. Each day as we go about our lives, we rub shoulders and touch the lives of people in our schools, workplaces, recreational activities and just living life in general. These people need Jesus. Don’t drop out of life, seek the Lord and be a shining example, an ambassador of Christ, living in victory right where you are. Be led by the Spirit, be diligent, believe to excel in all that you do, until the day Jesus comes to gather us all to Himself.

As Jesus said, you watch the skies for signs to determine what the weather will be like. So I encourage you to watch for the signs of His return. The Biblical Prophetic calendar is fast being fulfilled.

As His disciples, let’s work together to get the Word of God out into all the world for a witness, preparing for the rapture and then the second coming of Christ.

Helpful Hints to Gain the Most from this Book

Study the scriptures carefully.

Read the scriptures in covenant context, chapter context and verse context.

Pray and meditate on the Word in your mind. Think about it.

Be like the Saints in Berea.

Acts 17:11 says, These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Occupy till He comes. A wise man once said, Plan your life like Jesus is not coming for one hundred years but live like He’s coming today.

Nevertheless when the Son of Man comes, shall he find faith on the earth? Luke 18:8.

Introduction

I believe that if there ever was a day when a book was needed on the Rapture of the Church, it is this day. Because this age, this generation, is going to see and experience the Rapture of the Church, and we don’t want to be left behind. Do we?

We don’t want to go through the Tribulation, or any part of it. We want to be out of here before it even starts. And one of the greatest promises of God is that He hasn’t destined His church to His great end-time judgement that is coming on this world.

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (1 Timothy 4:1).

There are doctrines going around right now stating that there is not going to be a Rapture.

I am writing a book on this subject, because people need to know the truth concerning God’s end-time judgement and the Rapture of His church.

There’s teaching being spread now that the Rapture is not happening. There’s teaching that we are already in the millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is no way possible that we could be in the millennial reign of the Lord Jesus Christ. There is too much pain and suffering in the land.

One only has to turn on the television, or pick up the morning newspaper and read a few lines, or Google ‘breaking world news’, to know that we are not in the millennial reign, which promises great peace on earth and righteousness reigning in the land, ending all wars.

You only have to look at the worldwide loss of life, destruction of businesses and livelihoods. The huge mental, emotional and financial cost that this Corona pandemic has caused in the nations, and we can know for sure this is not the millennial age that we are currently in. That thousand years of peace is still yet to come.

I believe (and I know some people won’t like this, but) if we preach against healing, we don’t get healed. If we preach against prosperity, we won’t prosper. God is a rewarder, not a destroyer of those that seek Him. Hosea 4:6 tells us that God’s people are destroyed by a lack of knowledge. It’s not God that is out to destroy His Church, it’s Satan. And sometimes, Satan uses our lack of knowledge of God’s Word as a weapon against us. The Bible tells us in Proverbs chapter 11 verse 9 that through knowledge shall the just be delivered.

You can only receive a promise of God according to your faith. The Bible says;

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shall be no priest to me: seeing you have forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget your children (Hosea 4:6).

‘My people perish for lack of knowledge’. The churches that don’t preach healing, have people perishing for lack of teaching on healing. The churches that don’t teach prosperity, have people perishing for lack of teaching on prosperity.

That is why I believe this teaching on the Rapture is imperative, to impart understanding, knowledge and expectation for this great event.

The Word says, By faith we are saved. The Word also says that, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. This is why I am bringing this teaching to you, to build your faith in God’s ability to catch us all up (rapture) to His presence in the pre-ordained time and plan of God.

What about baby Christians? Well, I believe that God is a God of love, and in His grace and wisdom, knows where every person is at in their walk with Him. He is not going to leave behind a person who gets born-again, but hasn’t had the opportunity to study all of the doctrines of God. If they are seeking first the Kingdom of God and looking forward to the coming of Jesus, and have a heart towards God and are prayerfully seeking Him, they will go in the Rapture. Remember God is the God of salvation and He loves you. He died so that you could be with Him forever.

I encourage you to repent and get your life right and walk with God in faith now. I firmly believe that if we live ‘life ready’ for Jesus by seeking first His kingdom and its righteousness, we will be ‘Rapture ready’.

I am presenting this book to take away your fear of end times, building faith in your life and spirit through the teachings of Jesus and God’s word concerning these times. God promises to never leave us or forsake us. He reveals himself again and again, in His word, as the God who delivers His people from trouble and tribulation. He never changes.

Remember, receive the blessings of God by faith, and the Bible tells us over and over, ‘that He is coming for those that are looking for His coming.’

So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation (Hebrews 9:28).

N.B. Who went into the ark with Noah? Was it not just his family that believed and walked with God?

Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief (Hebrews 4:1-6).

Once again, we can see that unbelief was the force that prevented some from entering into the promised land. Let’s not be guilty of this sin.

Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (Luke 21:36).

The word escape means ‘to flee out of or to be taken away from; to flee away from something.’ The obedient Believers who are watching and praying for His return, will escape the Great Tribulation by going in The Rapture or catching up of the church.

VISIONS OF RAPTURE

My wife is a person whom the Lord will use from time to time, to reveal by revelation or see in a vision, a specific event or set of circumstances. At times when Kerrie has had these visions and shared them with the church or those concerned, people have testified to the accuracy of her visions that pertained to their lives. Others have been set free, while others have received correction or encouragement as well as answers to their needs.

Following, in her own words, is an account of one such supernatural vision she experienced in a Sunday morning church service. While our church was in the midst of worship, God allowed her to see what the rapture would be like.

Kerrie’s Vision

One Sunday morning (in 1993), I was standing with the congregation worshipping the Lord. As Shaun started to speak to the people, I sat down in my seat and the next thing I knew, I was floating in space looking down upon the church.

The first thing I thought was, Why am I here? I didn’t feel at all ill at ease or disturbed in any way. Rather, I just felt totally at peace and secure, and I was over-awed by the beauty of the green planet blowing with the clouds swirling around it and the changes of light on its surface. The whole scene was truly magnificent; the earth, the luminescent moon, the velvety blackness around me, the Milky Way and all the stars. The scene seemed to go on forever, and it was as though all my physical senses were keener and so much more aware and sensitised than what they were on earth. I could actually feel the blackness of the space around me in which I was floating. It’s so hard to describe in words, but I actually felt cradled and caressed and overwhelmingly loved and comforted. I felt as though I was actually absorbing all the beauty around me, right into my inner being, as if I was being fed on it. It’s very hard to describe this experience. I could have stayed there forever, it was so restful, but as I started to reflect on my purpose for being there, I heard a faint rumbling sound in the distance. Then a small, soft, sweet-smelling breeze brushed against my face and moved my hair back and I closed my eyes and took a deep breath and absorbed it.
