In the year 2007, God spoke to me and said, “In every society or community, there is a woman or man, broken, hurt, humiliated, despised, rejected, frustrated, despaired of living, condemned, and molested, and has eventually lost the purpose for living.” Hence, this book is written under the very inspiration of the Holy Spirit to bring restoration, glory, and destiny back. It contains distinctive insights that can impart hope into anyone’s life that has gone through hardship and disappointment. God has a plan for any woman or man that has been mocked and teased in life. As people are mocking you, God is making you to be a huge blessing to this generation!

Introduction

The Broken & Forgotten Woman is written to revamp every woman’s lost hope and identity. Today, many women are victims of injustice, condemnation, abuse and mockery. I remember in 2007, God said to me that in every society, there is a woman broken, hurt, humiliated, despised, rejected, frustrated, hopeless, condemned and molested. Those words sunk into my spirit like fire such that today I have a burden to make a difference in someone’s life. Without doubt, this book is here to help you navigate your way to faith and victory. It contains outstanding insights, wisdom and divine encounters that will reverse any ugly situation in your life.

God has a plan for every woman alive today. People may tease and make a mockery of you, yet that doesn’t change God’s plan for your life. As people are mocking you, God is making you to be a living wonder - enviable to your generation! The LORD told me that there are women in this dispensation of time who have lost marriages, joy, and hope; they are now depressed and living in regret. Don’t worry, God has a special plan for your life—it is time to wipe away your tears. God has heard your prayers and is sending help to rescue you from every predicament and disappointment you have ever suffered in life.

Never blame yourself when things are not going right in your life; instead, keep on thanking God for His mercy and grace (Psalm 136:1-7). When the children of Israel complained against Moses (Exodus 15:22-27), God showed Moses the answer to the problem, and it worked for them with precision and speed. Bitter water got converted to sweet water! What does that teach us today? To never complain or give up in life if faced with challenges. Yes, there is always a way out in Christ Jesus to any ugly or bogging situation. Friend, your life or marriage may experience problems today—but don’t just give up—there is a God in Heaven capable of restoring and healing your life.

God never called us to complain, but to give Him praise and glory for His Name’s sake. God has vowed not to see you desolate in life once you put all your trust in Him (Psalm 34:22). Did you know God has promised to beautify and restore your life when you put your confidence in Him? During my ministry trips here in Australia, I came across many women; great looking, but broken in life — single mums who got abused and disappointed. You could tell that they were special people, but somehow and somewhere just lost control of their lives because of unbearable problems of life.

It was during that period of ministration that God gave me an assignment to write this outstanding book. I believe the message within the chapters of this book will bring healing, restoration, and hope to someone hurting today. Just don’t give up! God, in His infinite wisdom, has destined your life for greatness in Christ Jesus!

Chapter 1

The Broken and Forgotten Woman

Today, in every community, society, country, or continent, you will find broken and forgotten women. However, how they respond to predicaments of life determines how quickly they get restored and mended. Not every woman gets broken or forgotten by choice, but the cares of life! So the best thing anyone can do is to help broken women to get back on track in life. Sometimes, your own wife can be broken and forgotten, but you don’t even know it. This is because no one knows the heart of a person, only God! The heart of a man or woman is a mysterious entity.

Jeremiah 17:9-10

The heart is deceitful above all things And it is extremely sick; Who can understand it fully and know its secret motives? I, the Lord, search and examine the mind, I test the heart, To give to each man according to his ways, According to the results of his deeds.

Who is this Broken and Forgotten Woman?

Many years ago, I went to pray for one woman whose husband had passed away several years ago. The pain she went through was enormous. However, the hardest part was in raising up her children by herself. She did not cope well with it as a single mother. I also learnt from her that the same year she had lost her job—it was terrible! Well, God led me to share with her God’s Word from John chapter 5:1-21, on how Jesus healed the crippled man. Now, while ministering to her, the Holy Spirit led me to lay hands upon her. Then, as soon as I did that, the power of God came upon her. She fell to the ground, completely delivered by the power of God. Then, the same week, she got her job back!

In the year 2010, one young Indian lady drove to my apartment looking for help. She had gotten into an altercation with her husband. Sad to say, her husband got on the verge of stubbing her. However, she fled away for help and safety! I knew this family for almost 3 years as I used to
