My Spiritual Walk With God

Here I am today standing, I don’t remember how the fire I had in the beginning died, when I started to write this book. I mean I had it all in me, the energy and inspiration but along the way it stopped and I started asking myself that “could it be because this book will touch many lives? From then I started looking at it with spiritual eyes and forced myself to write and finish it, because I remember the first time I took my very first pages to one of my Pastors back then, all he did was scroll through them and the first words that came out of his mouth were ''finish this book”. One thing I never did is to take the words of a man of God lightly. Some will defend this with the scriptures that when God sent the Prophet Isaiah to Hezekiah, to let him know that he was to die, he faced the wall and prayed against the message given and his story changed “Isaiah 38”  

 But with me I choose the will of God, I desire nothing on earth anymore except to do the will of my father so that I find myself in His glorious presence. In life we all need that one person who sees your life at a different angle and with spiritual eyes, someone who will be able to see what you can’t see and speak the mind of God and declare a blessing upon your life, most importantly to give you direction. INTRODUCTION

CHAPTER 1 - THE GENESIS OF MY JOURNEY WITH GOD

I got saved in 2015 at a certain Big church in Pretoria, that is when I started being serious with God and accepted Jesus as my Personal Lord and Saviour and forgot about the things of the world. It was so exciting and nothing could come between me and my God. I grew the interests of reading the word and spending more time in church than any other places until I decided to quit my Job in Musina and moved to Pretoria because all I needed and wanted was to be full time in ministry. I was graced to be located by a great man of God in the Church in Pretoria and from then my whole life took a different turn. 

I had found a father whom I can look up to. When I moved in to Pretoria it was also through his instruction, I found myself being close to such a great man of God (something that people cry for, some to just touch his hand but they can only see him on television). 

I was amazed by the grace and favour that God has given me, when He made the man of God to be my spiritual father that even when I moved to Pretoria I stayed in various Hotels under his care but along the way

I got into a relationship with the brother but the relationship did not work out because we had so many differences and because of that we ended up separating, reason being our relationship was always on and off. 

The biggest fight I had with him was that he wanted to keep the relationship private and as a young minister he should’ve been settling down but he was the most confused man I had ever met. Well, that is not the reason for this book, this is just a glimpse of my Christian walk and I’m sharing with you so that you will be able to understand the chapters I have written on this book but whatever happened did not stop me from serving God, though my faith was shaken, but I remembered that I had a father that I could look up to. I took the matter to Him and he was very supportive and advised me to let go and let God.

I faced a lot but I healed and was able to stand back on my feet and still couldn’t stop talking about the church to everyone and what God had done for me and I could not stop talking about my spiritual father to everyone on my social media and that made me to praise him more and look up to him more than God and I learned nothing about the word.
