God once said to me, Go! I’m sending you like I sent Moses, my prophet, to liberate my people from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching and teaching of the Word of Faith. Raise the foundations of many generations, prophesy over them and school them into supernatural knowledge, wisdom, and exploits; impart into them my power and wisdom; release them into their glorious and unparalleled destinies.

    Introduction

I n 2008, the Lord Jesus spoke to me and said, The only way to gain and keep the anointing upon your life is to hate sin with a passion. Sin is the number one enemy of the anointing or God’s presence. Hence, if you want to see the anointing increase in your life, righteousness is the way to go! This book is written to give you an understanding of the divine exchange that took place on the cross. It has divine insights concerning the transitioning of man from the natural realm into the supernatural realm. Glory be to Jesus!

Assuredly, there was a divine exchange that took place on the cross. Jesus became sin so that we could become His righteousness and He also became poor so that we could be rich (2 Corinthians 5:21; 8:9). What a privilege! We cannot number the things that the righteousness which came by Christ Jesus has done for every child of God today — they are incalculable! They are incomprehensible! Every born-again child of God is a by-product of the righteousness of God that comes by faith in Christ Jesus—not by works.

    Romans 4:1-5

What then shall we say that Abraham our father has found according to the flesh? For if Abraham was justified by works, he has something to boast about, but not before God. For what does the Scripture say? Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt. But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.

    Philippians 3:7-9

But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith.

Our righteousness in Christ Jesus has given us access to God’s throne. We can now come boldly before His throne to get mercy and grace. Our entire lives and godliness hang on this imputed or accredited righteousness. The same righteousness has enthroned us into realms of God’s divine presence, power, and favour. In fact, this very righteousness is a divine act of God’s mercy and love in our lives. Therefore, it is such an enormous privilege for us to be called the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

    2 Corinthians 5:21

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Children of God, it is now easy to make it to Heaven because of the righteousness of the Son of God, which we have received from God. When you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour, you have taken part in His righteousness. His righteousness grants you and me the right standing with God, regardless of our backgrounds. However, for us to make it to Heaven individually, we have to reflect or abide in the righteousness of God until Jesus comes back. Holiness or walking with God is crucial!

    Matthew 24:13-14

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

    Philippians 2:12-13

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

Saints, walking with God in holiness is crucial to our lives. This is not to scare you, but to help you understand the need for holiness as we wait for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Of course, we have to stand firm in the righteousness of the Son of God. The good news is that when you understand this righteousness, the devil won’t afflict your life anymore. Just remember! Our righteousness in Christ Jesus got accredited to us not because of our hard work, but because of God’s grace.

    Ephesians 2:8-10

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

    Romans 5:17

For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)

    Chapter 1

    From Sin to Righteousness

    Ephesians 2:1-3

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Many people don’t have time to talk about sin. Yet, it is sin or disobedience that has brought this entire world into corruption. I believe if Adam did not commit sin in the Garden of Eden, this world could have been the most perfect place to live in. It is sad to say; the world is full of corruption and all kinds of evil today. That is why you can’t afford to live in this world without Jesus, who is also our righteousness. Once again, this world is trapped in all kinds of wickedness, darkness, and cruelty because of sin.

    Psalm 74:18-20

Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O Lord, And that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name. Oh, do not deliver the life of Your turtledove to the wild beast! Do not forget the life of Your poor forever. Have respect to the covenant; For the dark places of the earth are full of the haunts of cruelty.

All evil and cruelty we see today in this world came from the spirit of disobedience—sin! I believe the spirit itself is still at work, both in adults and young adults. Hence, the only way to become secure in life is to identify God’s answer to sin. God’s answer to sin is righteousness! Certainly, there was a sin setback in the Garden of Eden, which Jesus came to address here on earth. Now, in order to address the sin problem, He had to die the death of criminals on the cross as our appropriation for sin. We are free at last!

    Colossians 1:13-14

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

    Galatians 5:1

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.

    Benefits of Righteousness

    (1) THE FEAR OF GOD

In the first place, it is important to understand that righteousness is not an option, but a must. Many years ago, I was once taught in school that a must is a must. Well, what does that mean? It means that you can’t do without it! So is righteousness you can’t do without it as a child of God—it is non-negotiable! Righteousness will always bring you to a place where revering God becomes your uttermost delight in life (John 4:34). It is also important to understand that greatness of any kind has its roots in the fear of God.

That is why, each time you walk in the fear of God, you are setting yourself up for divine promotion and enlargement in Christ Jesus. Also, if you want to locate any kind of success in your life, you must always strive to walk in the fear of God. To fear God is to hate evil with a passion! Great people never turn away from God, but turn their hearts to God. So, if you want to continue walking in greatness of any kind here on earth, then you must continue to walk in the righteousness Jesus purchased for us on Calvary.

    1 Timothy 6:10-12
