Denise E Caesar, the fifth (5th) of eight sisters, was born in the beautiful and fertile island of St. Kitts. She grew up in a large family unit with her parents of 55 years of marriage and counting. At an early age, a desire to see the relationship of others flourish in like manner, was unearthed within her. Her resilience in dealing with life's challenges has earned her the name 'Quiet Strength'. She is passionate about shifting marriages from good to great and seeing others discover their identity, fulfill their purpose and live victorious lives.

Denise manages and owns Customizesmile—a gift basket business designed to put a smile on your face. She is also the CEO and Founder of Customize Coaching and Mentoring Services; providing customized solutions that allow growth and life fulfillment in areas of relationship and faith.

Don't we all want long, fulfilling and fun relationships? Is this possible? Why do so many experience, misery and heartache instead of peace and love? I will often ponder on these questions as I observed those around me in their relationships. I would look at my perfectly fitted neighbors as they frequently went place to place, only to return with fiery darts being thrown at each other. The constant disrespect, anger, and heated arguments.

I compared that scenario with our home where there was no argument or fuss between my parents, but neither was there any vivid and open affection on display. With active church life being the norm, I observed a few couples. Particularly younger couples looked contented, peaceful and dare I say in love.  Having the blessing of being number five of my parents’ nine children, I had the privilege of witnessing their marriage and understood the apprehension and uncertainties that such a serious commitment can bring.

Who wants to be a failure in life, in marriage or in anything? No one. We all would like to be successful in life. Yet at times, we find ourselves failing, or about to fail, and it is in these moments we become desperate, searching for an answer, a solution, anything that can help us. Whether you are a man or woman, the thought of failure is real and can become crippling in the absence of knowledge. Fear is not only associated with married couples, but fear also seeks out the singles that are longing and hoping to get married one day.

Fear wants to tarnish and taint what God has made to be lovely, beautiful, rich, cultivating and enhancing.  But now, we intercept the plan of fear and enhance the opportunity to experience the sacred covenant of marriage with all its bliss and blessings.

This book was birthed out of love and genuine desire to share with both singles and couples. It is intended to provide information that would assist individuals to adequately plan for successful relationships. God in his infinite wisdom, designed marriage between a man and a woman; beautifully crafting both as individuals to become one flesh.  The fusion of two sexes, with two different backgrounds, goals, ways of conducting business and so much more—yet having the capability of functioning as a single unit (one flesh).

The rising rate of divorce within the Church and having witnessed many dysfunctional relationships, have also prompted the writing of this book. It can be used as a tool to improve relationships overall. The tips in this book have been carefully crafted in experience and truth and are intended to impart knowledge, wisdom and practical actions to make married life easy.

Where there is life, there is hope for everything.  You can choose to complain or embrace the challenges.  The choices you make will certainly determine your destiny because you are the architect of your own life.  The paths will not always be smooth, there may be hills and valleys, rain and drought but as you trod, your path will lead you to your desired destiny.
