About this ebook
Marriage is a union between a mature man and a mature woman. It is ordained by God Almighty. It is not a union between teenagers or children like it is seen in some geographical locations. It is for those who know that they are ready and can take the responsibility of another adult in their life, as well as give this other adult quality attention for a lifetime. Marriage is for those who are ready and willing to support their spouse in making every necessary sacrifice needed to build a home.
In order to understand and use any new tech gadget efficiently, you need to read the manual booklet for guidelines. Those written words or small leaflets that come with new gadgets are to be read and understood so as to help in the setup and coupling of the electronic gadget correctly. A Manual gives you more information about any product. It tells you about the functions, it shows you where things are located so you don't waste time figuring the device on your own or end up tampering with the device. A manual will tell you the button to press for a particular thing and the expected results. In the same vein, you need the Bible which is the Christian manual to ensure that your marriage is successful. It contains many illustrations and guidelines on how to succeed in your marital pursuit. It tells you so much about who to marry, who not to marry. Via its storytelling techniques, the Bible gives you a deep insight into the do's and don'ts of Christian marriage as well as show you samples of failed marriages and how many others succeeded in their marriages, parenting patterns and so much more.
It is very important to know what is expected from a man and woman before going into marriage. It is also great for you to know how to choose a life partner according to God's instructions. Know that it's not just anyone you can marry. It is not any believer that can help you fulfill your God-given purpose in life.
Also, note that marriage is not a gateway to happiness. It is very important that you create your own happiness. Find God in order to do what makes you happy. If you wait for your spouse, you may wait in vain for a long time.
It is important you see yourself the way God sees you. You are beautiful and wonderfully made by God Himself. You are enough. No man or woman should make you feel inferior to how God sees you. Don't give anyone that power over you. No matter what has happened in the past, let it remain in the past. Once you have a good relationship with God, you become a new creature. Old things have passed away, all things become new. Do not allow the issues of your past to reduce your standard and accept just anyone into your life. No one can guarantee your happiness.
Remember that:
•Marriage is an institution ordained by God.
•It's for mature men and mature women.
•It's important to have the manual (Bible) to read, study to follow its godly examples.
•You have to be a complete Single to have a blissful home.
•Your happiness depends on you.
•
·Get closer to God.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
I wish to acknowledge my parents Mr. B. A. and Mrs.
R.O. Oladipupo for their wonderful exemplifying of what a Christian home should be. Your time of teachings, prayers, advice, family altar, countless calls and text messages made this possible. I appreciate all efforts and sacrifices made for your children and grandchildren. God bless you.
I also want to appreciate my Spiritual fathers who God mightily used in guiding me when I went through my season of choosing- Who I Should Marry.
Special thanks goes to Pastor Oluyide of RCCG Christ The Door, Pastor Oluyemi Ekundayomi (my Papa) of RCCG Christ The Redeemer and Pastor Israel of RCCG Christ The Door. Through your teachings, prayers and advice I became confident in who God created me to be. Thank you for adding value to my life.
I recall Pastor Oluyide telling me in his office one day, Sister Victoria, the same access I have to God as your pastor, that's the same access you have to God. Don't let anyone deceive you that they can see who your life partner is. Pray and let God lead you.
That statement kept ringing in my heart. Thank you Sir.
A special thanks goes to my present Pastor of RCCG Hope of Glory, Kubwa, Pastor Albert Akintola and his
beloved wife Pastor (Mrs.) Katherine Akintola for their prayers and advice. God bless you immensely.
I must also appreciate my husband, my crown and glory, my partner in 'crime and progress' Arc. Adeolu Yoosuff. Thanks for your support and letting me blossom. Thank you for loving me and showing our girls a godly example of being a father and husband.
Above all, I want to appreciate the giver of life. He is my source and my inspiration. In Him, I live more and have my being. He made a way for this book project to be published. I call Him the God that hears my whispers. Thank you God Almighty. I am in awe of your goodness.
