Keep An Open Mind
I have always tried to be very non-combative about the way I teach.
I can’t come into your country, your city, your bar and TELL you what’s going to work with YOUR customers.
You are professional, working service givers, and experts on your area
and we respect that.
But what I can do, is tell you about all sorts of things that are working in other bars around the world. It’s totally up to you whether you want to try any of them or not.
We, all the people who contributed to this series, really want you to succeed.
This entire series is about giving you ideas on how to be a better All Around service giver.
We’re here to help you make more money, for yourself and for your bar.
There are things that suggest that you’ll think to yourself..... Yeah....that’s not going to work for me ☺.
No problem. We don’t expect you to agree with everything we say or write.
Just remember. Everything we’ve written has come from hard won experience.
Basically, we’ve screwed up so many times, we’ve figured out some better ways to do things. Not perfect, that’s too much to expect, but with excellence ☺
So, keep an open mind, be willing to experiment a bit and you may find
that you have more fun and make more money.

You’ll Get What You’ve Always Gotten."

1: Working Flair Bartending Is A Business Tool – Use Wisely
I Promise
You Will Make WAY More Money In Tips!
––––––––
If You Don’t Entertain Your Customers...Someone Else will!
Give customers a reason to come to your bar,
stay longer, spend more money, Tip well,
and tell all their friends about what a great time they had.
Well, for me, learning and implementing an intelligent working flair style ABSOLUTELY, made me WAY more money than I ever did before I began. Serving with style was a major part of me succeeding in every measurable and non-measurable way.
BUT, you have to learn when and when not to use your skills, when to do more and only do a little not to mention knowing your limits and playing the odds for risk factor vs. reward. You’ve got to be smart about it.
Just about anyone Can Learn A Handful
of The Easiest, No Risk Moves.
This book is a great start and has a ton of insider tips & tricks
But we’ve created 25 full length Training Videos ( over 33 hrs of Video )

Working Flair Bartending Starter Series
Being a Full On
Flair Bartender isn’t for everyone.
But the moves we teach at the beginning of our courses, this book and our videos really are designed so virtually anyone can do them. Just take it one small step/move at a time. No Rush. Take the time to learn each move until you have confidence that you can do it. It will happen faster than many people think.
Even just a simple toss and catch of a shaker set with a smile on your face will impress people and make them smile too.
Yes, I’m biased but as you can see from this book, doing any level of Flair Bartending is not the only way to make great tips. It’s a tool like many others.
But... It is the most visible way to stand out from the crowd and get people’s attention. It’s a fact, people will notice you and watch.
Pic of Viviana Mattivi – Just look at how many faces are watching.
If you do it right, and not overdo it or get too big an ego etc.
I promise that you will make WAY more money in tips than you did before. I certainly did and so are tens of thousands of my students around the world. And, of course many others that aren’t my students but use flair as a business tool as well.
I’m talking about intelligent, practical, low risk moves that are eye catching and interesting to watch and you can do whether you’re slow or really busy.
Working Flair
is a very useful business tool that, if used properly, helps everybody win.
The bar and the bartender make more money.
Whether you’ve been bartending for ten minutes or ten years, if you’re willing to learn just a few low risk moves you can add one more way to entertain your customers, without slowing down or spilling alcohol!
Extreme Bartending Brings Fun And Profit To Any Bar
It’s amazing just how much attention a little style behind the bar can attract. The Tom Cruise movie Cocktail
brought flair bartending to popular public attention in 1988,
but the art of flipping and spinning bottles has been around for generations.
WHAT IS FLAIR/EXTREME BARTENDING?
Making and serving a drink in a stylish and interesting way.
In the early years before the term, Flair Bartending
, became the generally agreed on descriptive title, there were many words used to describe this kind of bartending.....flair, freestyle, Olympic, performance, cocktail, etc.. They pretty much all mean the same thing..... performing while you’re behind the bar.
Flair bartending means to perform with flair, be a performer and entertain your customers. It’s the act of stylishly preparing and serving cocktails. Don’t just serve a drink, SERVE IT WITH STYLE!
In this training seminar you’ll learn many different ways to serve drinks with style as well as a few bar bets that have NO RISK at all to your bar manager’s bottom line.
# 1 Rule in Performing While Bartending at Work is,
SPILLAGE OF ALCOHOL IS UNACCEPTABLE!
# 2 Rule is...
YOU DON’T HAVE TO SLOW DOWN
TO MAKE A DRINK WITH STYLE.
Flair is nothing more than efficiency of movement combined with a little pizzazz.
Flair is having fun at working hard. This technical performance art form involves the spinning, flipping, throwing, balancing and catching of bottles, glassware and bartending tools.
Whatever tricks or moves you learn; you must work them into your natural flow.
Practice until you’re comfortable doing them in any situation without risk.
Flair bartenders are DEDICATED AND PASSIONATE about their jobs.
Take The 10-Day Flair Challenge – (Message From Scott Young)

If you’re wondering if you’ll really be able to do this??
We say this: How do you know until you try?
Learning flair bartending is like learning a new sport.
Until you’ve been trained by someone who knows what they’re doing,
You have no Idea what you’re capable of.
We do. If you want to and If you REALLY try.
How do we know? We’ve trained tens of thousands of people
all over the world with our seminars and DVDs.
I created this company in 1994 to teach people like you and I’ve personally served over 800,000 drinks with flair. Our students are often amazed at how much they can do after just a few days of personal instruction & a solid effort.
There is trained and there is Un-trained. We will teach you how to practice effectively.
You can’t do everything, but have you done everything that you CAN do?
There are no miracle cures, but we can help you increase the odds for success.
Our program is all about what YOU... CAN... control.
If you want to learn, we CAN teach you! All the tools are here for you in this manual
IF, you give 10 days of focused practice on the simple moves and routine we teach you in this manual.
- 41 different moves that we combine into
- 9 specific Mini Performance sequences of flair moves
- That make up 1 short & simple Full Performance Drink Routine
.
- Use them as a foundation to build on. Add more difficult moves as you improve.
Use these routines as a complete performance show or break them up for great working flair mini sequences. We believe that a multi- layered, supportive & interactive learning system creates a comfortable environment and better results.
Everyone is encouraged to really get involved. You can expect a well thought out plan that uses proven teaching techniques...
There is an old proverb that says, "When you pray, Move your feet "
Training without practice doesn’t do much good either.

"Flair bartending is a time-proven means of wowing guests,

Tom Cruise and Bryan Brown popularized flair in the movie Cocktail
but it was John JB
Bandy (from TGiFriday’s ) who trained them.
Scott Says: That’s where it started for me too. After seeing that movie, in 1988, I thought I’ve got to be able to do that, so I built a bar in my backyard and started practicing and experimenting. In 1994 I started my company training people and doing performances around the world.
( Fun Fact: Then,
