About this ebook

The Tensome are back at Wizard school for their fourth and final year. When they graduate they will be Wizards. What obstacles and opportunities lie in their path? Before they return, the Tensome are determined to get Shmedley a Wand. This is his last year of Wizard School. He really needs to have a Wand. Shmedley has made it through three years of Wizard School very successfully without having a Wand. But the Tensome think that he'll really need to have one this year. And besides, he's been without a Wand for too long. And if you think that's bad for Shmedley, what about the poor author? What will we find out about Shmedley's Parents this year? I mean what will we find out about those impostors who pretended to be his parents until they could ship him off to Wizard School. And who sends a kid to Wizard School without a Wand? Once they graduate, then what will they do? They have little time to ponder that, they're too busy with school and with finding out about Dangerous Territory. Rating G; Reading Level Easy 5th Grade; Longest Word: Responsibilities. What is a penumbra? It's the lightest part of a shadow, the part at the edges. The umbra is the darker, inner part of a shadow. So, this book is about the lightest part of the shadow of the lives of Wizards School Students. It's the story about how they're about to graduate and embrace the life of Wizards. Up to this point, they have just been students. After they graduate, they'll be acclaimed as Wizards – cap and all. What could possibly go wrong in their final year at Wizard School? How about accidentally traveling back in time? How about ending up in Wandmaking Class when you know nothing about that subject? And what will these students do after they graduate? The Principal has a surprise in store which may answer that question.

The Wizard Without a Wand - Book 6 - Dale Stubbart

    Summer Break

Towards the end of their third year at Wizard School, Gloria Songmeister Gloria and Epsilon Sigma Omicron had become girlfriend and boyfriend. They had waited until the Summer to tell anyone else their secret.

The first people they told were Leesha Fourthchild and Shmedley Thrumbledack. Somehow Leesha and Shmedley were not that surprised.

Shortly after Leesha and Shmedley had become girlfriend and boyfriend in their first year at Wizard School, Leesha had gotten them both rings to symbolize their new relationship. Now Gloria and Epsi also wore rings. Since these four always hung around together, they soon became to be known as the Ring of Four.

The Ring of Four stayed at Leesha’s Parents for the Summer. It seemed to fly by, perhaps in a bit too much of a hurry.

The rest of the Tensome would visit them from time to time. But they saw little of Oscar Henry Woodsaw who spent most of his time with his Folks. When the Ring of Four did see him, he didn’t say much.

Oscar Henry never brought the Tomtons with him, those magical creatures who are even more gentle than Oscar Henry. And he never brought his Hobo friends – Duosity Lemon and Hobo Sam.

Oscar Henry never said why he didn’t bring the Tomtons. He never said why the Hobos didn’t come. And nobody wanted to pry.

Billy James Gregshaw William Yllib the Vth would visit from time to time, always descending as if in a cloud. The cloud was formed by the breath of the dragons who accompanied him. They made their cloud big enough so that they wouldn’t be noticed.

Amanda Sunflower Triangulum stopped in once or twice. But she was spending most of her time on the backside of the Moon with her Parents.

Jenie Maloy came by fairly often. And when she did Sidney Rather Nottingham and Buster Tensyllables came with her. The Terrific Trio it seemed, would always be very close friends, but nothing more.

Jenie liked boys and there were several she was good friends with. But there were none she was as close with as she was with Sidney and Buster. Sidney and Buster were inseparable, even when Jenie wasn’t with them.

When any of the Tensome were together, they would discuss their upcoming final year at Wizard School. And they all promised to stay close friends long after they graduated, even though that wouldn’t happen for three more years

Summer had almost come to an end. The Tensome all arrived at Leesha’s house. They had one last task they wished to perform before Summer was over.

    The Wandmaking Guild

Ariel Lightwand the Left-Handed met Arlanda Florida for morning coffee in Arlanda’s Office. They often had coffee together to start their School day. Most people knew that they were colleagues. But they were also long-time friends.

Ariel had been a promising student at Wizard School, back in the day. In fact, she had been so promising that Arlanda, the young Principal, suggested that she apply for a teaching position.

There would be an opening in How to be a Wizard in a Kajillion Steps. And Ariel had certainly taken a kajillion steps on her way to becoming a Wizard.

Arlanda could think of nobody better qualified. And that was the beginning of their relationship as colleagues.

Some might think so, but life at Wizard School was not always easy. For instance, there was the time that Sku Undrel III burned down the entire School Campus.

Every building was burned beyond repair. They all had to be totally rebuilt. Tents were donated to be used in the interim. The building went faster with Wizardry. But it still took time. Tents for
