Zaytohl's Vision: The Zelding Are On the Move
()
About this ebook
Zaytohl, the young Cyatkwhoo is off by himself, deep in the woods, trying to be invisible. If he was just a couple of years older, he just knew that he could become invisible. But that doesn't stop him from trying to become invisible now. Then, all of a sudden, he must have become invisible. For he started to see three treasure chest slowly, very slowly pop out of the ground.
Zaytohl knew from the stories that they must be the Zeldings' treasure chests. Of course he couldn't see the Zeldings themselves. They were much more invisible than he was.
Zaytohl supposed that he'd have to tell the Council about his vision. That wouldn't have been so bad, but his dad was on the council. And his dad never believed any of his stories.

Zaytohl’s Vision
One of the Zeldings’ treasure chests moved upward, slow bit by slow bit. The treasure chest was very long. And it seemed to move upward forever. It moved upward, as though it were being pulled in that direction by some sort of crank and pulley system.
Actually there was no such mechanism. Rather, many, many invisible Zelding pulled it upward in this way.
Then another chest full of treasure was pulled upward.
Then the third and final.
All of their treasure chests were finally out of the ground.
And, the Zelding were on the move!

IF A HUMAN WOULD HAVE witnessed this, they would have been standing deep, deep in the Pacific Northwest Forest. A Human, however, wouldn’t have seen the treasure emerging from underground. Rather, they would have seen three pill bugs pop to the surface, one at a time.
Yet, a Human wouldn’t have seen this at all. For it was deep in the forest where no Human ever goes. And the Human would have needed very special eyes to witness any of this.
Zaytohl saw it. Zaytohl a young Cyatkwhoo (Hairy Ones Who Whistle in the Forest) saw it. For Zaytohl, the Zelding’s treasures were just as the stories told. In fact, they were even better.
Humans would know Zaytohl as one of the elusive Peoples. To them, he would be as mythical as the Zelding were to the Cyatkwhoo.
ZAYTOHL was standing very still, when he saw the treasures of the Zelding rise out of the forest floor. He was practicing being invisible. For when he could truly disappear, he would be an adult. He would then be a grown up.
Of course, you couldn’t tell if you had become invisible. Somebody else had to witness that. You could watch your finger or hand, maybe even your entire arm become invisible. Nevertheless, you couldn’t witness your entire body disappear.
Even though Zaytohl knew that he was a couple of years too young to achieve the invisibility of his entire body, still he practiced. And he had achieved some degree of success – a finger, then a hand.
Still, he tried not to watch himself disappear. That tended to make one less successful at it.
ZAYTOHL watched the Zeldings’ treasure chests move with much fascination. He saw their treasure chests as treasure chests because the eyes of Cyatkwhoo see more clearly than the eyes of Humans.
Cyatkwhoo can see things which Humans cannot. Still, Zaytohl could only see their treasure chests. He could not see the Zeldings themselves. They are invisible even to Cyatkwhoo.
This young Cyatkwhoo watched until the treasure chests went a little further into the forest. He watched until he couldn’t see them anymore. Then, Zaytohl’s Vision ended.
A Miraculous World
Remember Zaytohl’s Vision . This story revolves around it. However, this story is not just about Zaytohl or his vision, it is about his Village. It is about the Cyatkwhoo .
This story is also about Humans and another People – the Zelding. And, it is a story about the Ancient Ones – those who guide and protect us.
THE Cyatkwhoo are a People who live in the Pacific Northwest Forest. A few live in Oregon. And more live in the state of Washington. Most of them, however, live in British Columbia, Canada.
It is possible that a few of them live in Southeast Alaska. If that is true, it’s very few. If that is true, they probably temporarily crossed the border from British Columbia without knowing it. Borders mean nothing to this People.
PERHAPS YOU ARE ONE of the lucky few who have seen the Cyatkwhoo. They are invisible to most Humans.
By now, most of you have heard rumors of other Invisible Peoples. There are also rumors of this People. However, the rumors of this People are far fewer in number than the rumors of other Invisible Peoples.
A CHILD OF THE Cyatkwhoo saw something miraculous one day. Children are always seeing miraculous things, aren’t they?
Sometimes, even though we can’t see those things, they are still true. Such is the case in this story.
WHY NOT TAKE A BREAK and experience something miraculous for a while? Please put on your believing cap.
If you don’t have one of those, perhaps you have a possibilities cap. Or perhaps, you have a cap which came from Paradise.
If you don’t have a cap or a hat or a helmet or a kippah or a hijab, please do whatever you do that allows you to enter a miraculous world. Sigh. Take a deep breath. And let
