I would first like to give honor To God who is the head of my life and the source of every blessing that I have ever received. I thank him for his mercy and his grace that he has shown me time and time again throughout my life. I thank God for the gifts that he placed in me and how he continues to use me to inspire his people. Through his word he has encouraged me to be patient and wait on him because all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Through all my trials and tribulations, I knew that one day my day would come. The day when my Heavenly Father would restore the joy that I once knew. No weapon formed against me will prosper is the song that played in my heart. It is my theme song and has allowed me to carry on my journey of Living Through the Fire being Burnt, but not Consumed. To God be the Glory!

I would like to thank my children for the love and support that they showed me during this troubled time in my life. I pray that I have been a mother that you can be proud of and look up to. I want you to know that your purpose is always greater than your circumstance. You just have to be willing to Let GO AND LET GOD! I consider you all to be my blessings from God and just know that no matter what comes your way your Momma always loves you!

To my special sisters in Christ; Tammy, Yvonne, Shontelle and Robin, much love and blessings to you for always being there for me when I needed a shoulder to cry on. I love you ladies from the bottom of my heart and thank God for allowing me to open to you and share my story. You never judged me or repeated anything that I shared with you. You will never know how much your love and support helped me on my journey…. I love you all my sisters!

Finally, I would like to thank the staff at Westbow press for making my dreams a reality. I truly appreciate all the hard work and dedication that you put into bringing my story to life. Thank you so very much!

No Weapon Formed Against thee shall Prosper.

T HERE IS SOMETHING to be said about being a mother, especially a single mother raising her children to the best of her ability. By nature mothers are nurturers and very protective of their children. As a mother we carry our children for nine months, amazed at how they grow. We patiently await their arrival while we carefully map out their future. Mapping out how we want their lives to go, what they will be and how as their parent we can make these dreams a reality. Then finally the day comes and
