About this ebook

At first you won’t believe that there is anything good can come of the pain. You think pain, you think negative, right? There is nothing positive about this! Why God why, you ask. This process is developing maturity and building faith in you. It takes a huge leap of faith to say to God while suffering “God I don’t understand the purpose of the pain, but I trust you to have a purpose in it.” This can accelerate your Christian growth like nothing else could. Sounds crazy, but pain is a part of life. It has purpose, power, and it has reason.

    About the Author

This book is dedicated to my children, Aubrey,

Gabrielle and son, The Late Previs L Walker,

Jr. who lives forever in our hearts.

In Loving Memory of My Son,

    Previs L Walker, Jr

    AKA Preddie Boi PJayy

To my dearest son Previs, as you were so affectionately known to some as Master P, Preb, Prev, Preddie Boi and so many more names, you were my first-born child and son. I had you at the tender age of 20 and I didn’t know what in the world I was going to do with a little baby. When your grandmother and I knew the sex we were so very happy. It was like tears of joy for both of us. You would be the first boy in the family in years. I felt like I was a sHero because I had the first male, lol. I can remember I didn’t want anybody kissing you when you were a newborn. I was so over-protective of you. If I left you with my mom or grandmother I felt as though I needed to rush back because I now have responsibilities. You changed my whole entire wardrobe because I didn’t even want to wear daisy dukes anymore because I AM A MOTHER, you know? You changed our world and you were such a huge part of us.

As a family we have so many fond memories of you. You were a Granny’s Boy I birthed you but you were definitely her child. She was your go-to person. I loved the relationship you had with your Granny. Never not one time I felt jealous or disrespected because you loved her. I knew I birthed you and nothing or no one could have changed that.

You were a great big brother to your sisters Aubrey and Tootie. You made sure you went to the school to eat lunch with Tootie on her birthday. That made her feel so good. You were proud of your little sister. You and Aubrey had an undeniable, unbreakable bond. The love y’all had for each was scary but one for the books, lol. Y’all two could argue like cats and dogs…and I mean bad…but it did not take long for y’all to make up. I would turn around and y’all were hanging out, meanwhile y’all stayed madder with me longer than the two of y’all. This made my heart smile though. I
